Your enthusiasm is infectious oh Queen Quark of Quirkyness. I too am feeling the irresistable urge to do a dashing white sergeant to the skirl of the pipes the noo.
And i can almost smell the smoke, the fish, and the whisky............oh hang on ,that's me bin needs emptying.
I like Butch...............very macho

SpaceGirl Posted Aug 22, 2003
macho.....as in leather-trousers wearing, hairy chest and unusual moustache
or macho as in grrrrrrrrr?
would you like me to send you some smokie-flavoured ice-cream?

In the navy...........
I don't know why i wanted to sing that all of a sudden.
I'd love that smoky ice cream, most likely make me as sick as a dog but............hey-ho.
Off to bed now Quark, busy day truckin' tommorrow. I'll try to catch you over the weekend for a full sea-fest report, have loads of fun..........and of course.
Night night.

well i survived the worshipping, and the hordes of tourists, 20000 allegedly
so my weekend was very busy
was cloudy again last night, no , or to be seen
how was ur weekend then, got over having to work a bank holiday then?.

It's been really cloudy down here at night too . I keep going out and trying to find , but have only caught a few glimpses. Could be all that smoke from the festival drifting down here i suppose. 20,000 people, that's some crowd, funny i've never heard of it before, have to find out more.
Not too bad working this weekend, i'm getting used to working while everyone else is enjoying themselves. You had to suffer it too though ,how did your day go?

SpaceGirl Posted Aug 25, 2003
fine, except i hate customers. if i had my way they would have to stand at the door and point at what they wanted - no mess, no chewing gum, and no children!
needed 3 cans of coke and 2 caffeine tablets to get going this morning, i think i may have overdone it at the weekend

Good girl, way to go. You know the weekend has been a success when you wake up on monday with eyes like this.......
Fantastic idea about the customers, perhaps you could give them a really long stick so they could point and pick up their purchases without leaving the pavement. ( Except the hunky marines of course)

SpaceGirl Posted Aug 25, 2003
no no stick, i get the stick, which can be used for whacking them over the legs if they don't behave themselves
thought i'd better enjoy my last weekend as a young lass . however do intend to get very merry this weekend too

Hi Quark,
I wonder if i'm looking in the right place...........Mrs. Airscotia reckons i wouldn't know Mars from my elbow...she finds that very funny.............i think it must be a Scottish joke.
Still cloudy ,still looking, but no sign of Mars,Galaxy or Milky way............having a bag of revels and going to bed.
