I've often wondered what that would be like (because I joined up to early to know!). It's great. I can see why people stick.

Where abouts in America are you? I went to school in Manhatten when I was seven and have been back to the US just about every year since and often more than once in a year. I've also visited every State. Next time round is, over the New Year, we'll be in Arizona where my step mother lives, and where, by coincidence, my wife emigrated to from Russia. Long story that. Arlington. Don't think I've been there. Researched a film a long, long time ago in Menard Texas - great state, but then you'll know that.

Arlington, TX is right between Dallas and Fort Worth. It's the home of the Texas Rangers baaseball team. But I have not heard of Menard, TX.

Not surprised - Menard is a one street town where I spent the better part of 3 months researching and producing a doc about vietnam vets, back in the sixties. And, as I am in a cyber cafe in Singapore right now with no access to a map, I just can't remember the nearest city.
