Hello. Let me be the first to welcome you to your own site. I like how that sounds. I was just going around doing my duties and found you with no welcome! No that just isn't right, is it? Anyway I am Shoal Prexy an ACE here on hte wonderful world of h2g2. And since you are who you are I don't have to tell you what an ACE is or does. So I guess I am done getting in the way so I will be off. See you around, well maybe not am in America after all.

Hello and thanks for the welcome.
I've often wondered what that would be like (because I joined up to early to know!). It's great. I can see why people stick.
Where abouts in America are you? I went to school in Manhatten when I was seven and have been back to the US just about every year since and often more than once in a year. I've also visited every State. Next time round is, over the New Year, we'll be in Arizona where my step mother lives, and where, by coincidence, my wife emigrated to from Russia. Long story that. Thanks again for the welcome.

I am in Arlington, TX. But I lived a year in Long Island, NY and was born in Bradenton, FL(south of Tampa). Oh, and I have friends in Tucson, AZ. You said you are going there. Well I am glad you like the greeting. I have to go check on my Regiment in the Terranic Army. A814097

Arlington. Don't think I've been there. Researched a film a long, long time ago in Menard Texas - great state, but then you'll know that.

Arlington, TX is right between Dallas and Fort Worth. It's the home of the Texas Rangers baaseball team. But I have not heard of Menard, TX.

Not surprised - Menard is a one street town where I spent the better part of 3 months researching and producing a doc about vietnam vets, back in the sixties. And, as I am in a cyber cafe in Singapore right now with no access to a map, I just can't remember the nearest city.
