You're a Beatles fan?!?!?! Me too!!
What's your favourite album/song? I love Blackbird, Yesterday, and basically most of their stuff. Though I have to admit to noyt being the biggest fan of Revolution #9 (I think) - you know the one on the White Album with someone repeating "Number 9" over and over with really weird things going on behind it. Not so good.
But I love the Beatles!

Yes, I tend to like Paul's songs too; those you mentioned and the ones on Sergeant Pepper -- Fixing a Hole, She's Leaving Home . . . but John was a terific songwriter too. The chemistry between the two, mututal support plus rivalry, seemed to sharpen their talent. By comparison George's lyrics tend to be petulant and whiney.
My favourite albums are probably Help, Hard Day's Night and Revolver. Help is a spate of inspiration.
