MY VERY OWN LINKS!
Posted Jan 19, 2003
Just got this brilliantly simple idea from Abbi ()!
This space to be used to list all those nice useful links that come up in convo's, that you keep meaning to go back to & then forget where you saw it!
If you want to use this space, feel free, but PLEASE keep it for this purpose, not for general chat (carry on nattering elsewhere on the journal though please!!)
so: link (nice clicky ones please!) & brief description of what it is & where you found it.
Comments regarding the links back in the "Eyes" section (refer to the "Links" Post no.s)
Terri

WHO'S GOT EYES? (4)

7.20pm here in France
What time is it where you are?
Quille (the other ), Z's friend, has a nifty map on her page that shows where she is, p'raps we ought to find out how she did it (a job for keeper of the time-zones Kea?)
Didn't hoot yesterday (but 6hr the day before, so not too bad really!!)
RL excitements here in the hub of the French universe, Angoulême:
"C'est la fête!" 30ème Festival International de la Bande Dessinée.
(for those of you not "au fait" with frogspeak, this means it's time for the Comic Festival, Angoulême being one of the major centres of the comic strip world.)
It's actually quite a big deal if you're a comic buff, sort of a Cannes Film Festival for comics. If anyone's seriously interested in knowing more, let me know. One of these days I'll get round to writing a Guide Entry about Angoulême, it also hosts the "Circuit des Remparts", a classic car race, which can be quite good fun if you like that sort of thing.
Enough of my free services to the Charente Tourist Board!
What have you lot been up to?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
