Got it, Milla, muchly.
It's very late & it's been yet another hectic day, dismantling the old porch, getting the new one started (ja, we have photos of "before & during demolition, "After" will come after Les Rafters"; V is here thank goodness to oversee it all; but all is Grand but busy....more details later; must get some sleep; difficult being both night owl & lark!
I still can't quite believe how happy i am.
It is a happy house, i keep playing the Crosby Stills Nash & Young song "Our house"...soon there will be 2 in the yard; lovely to get
Edda as part of the package deal!
And great to have V here, extremely young man; living proof of parents caring for kids even if their own relationship means they don't live together, the welfare of the child is Numero Uno.
for both P & A please!

I'm very happy you're happy, hun!!
Sounds like you're having fun.
I've joined a new painting group, and am very excited about that. We will meet once a week to do artwork together.

The porch stuff doesn't sound like much fun, but at least it's getting done.
I am also glad to hear you're happy and everyone is well- and that Yoda will be joining you soon.

Hi, Peter here,
everything is fine here; we were very busy lately replacing the collapsing conservatory and rehearsing that musical in town. Terri is largely happy. Or should I say up to yesterday - problem being that we got a message Terri's cat Yoda is sick in the cattery in France. I am quite confident the cat will recover, but Terri is very very worried and unhappy about not being there right now. (The original plan was us collecting the cat end of May, when the required 6 months after vaccination verification are over.)
Could I ask anyone who knows Terri and her cat to send good wishes to both of them? I believe nothing works as well as that!
Thanks in advance, and I hope you all are keeping well.
Peter

Also sending my best wishes to Yoda, Terri, and Peter. Micio sends her regards as well.
It must to terribly hard to be separated from kitty when she is sick. May she recover quickly.

Terri here, Peter kindly agreed to post that last message; i was in such a state, but didn't want you all to feel i'd disappeared!
Yes; it's really dreadful being apart from her when she's sick; the cattery sends reports on her health etc direct to P; since he is paying the bills, so thankfully, he can let me know in a way that might make me slightly less hysterical......
Life here is; apart from the Yoda factor, wonderful but busy; this morning we're off to an underground ice house to sort out solar stuff, tonight we're doing sound & lighting for the play, tomorrow & rest of the next two weeks i think we rehearse every night, in between we count , fit in shopping, cooking; eating, making sure the fire keeps alight etc....rural life is NOT a picnic, but hard work, but very satisfying work!
Thank you for sending hootoo good vibrations.

Terri, I am so sorry your beautiful Yoda is poorly. I hope she will be better soon. It isn't long till May (well it probably seems so to you) when you will be reunited again.
Take care

Hiya, Terrri here, thanks so much for hootoo good vibes; seems to have worked. I phoned the cattery this morningf & they say she is eating again, the Vet thinks it was cat flu & she has got over it. He reccomended she be jabbed against possible future attacks; which i've agreed to; even though usually i'm not in favour of extra possibly toxic stuff being added to animals or myself (Ja, i know i drink & smoke; but at least i am aware of the effects & have a choice in the matter)
Yoda can't express her views on that; but seems to get flu type thing most winters; so we are erring on the side of long term safe health versus non interference with natural immunity.....difficult choice; she will be stressed out by travelling; different climate ; new &
friend etc.
Mort: if you are lurking; please give your advice!
Fritzis another issue: do we get him "done" i.e: off with les balls or not? He doesn't seem to spray, but his pee is smelly & we worry about the main road nearby if he goes searching for girlfriends; P lost a
that way & we are both very attached to him by now, he's a gentle soul & fits into the household beautifully.
Today was the St.Patricks Day Parade, i was in a horse drawn carriage, dressed as Edwardian Lady!!!! "'Twas a grand craic!"Photo's, emails will arrive once we get a moment spare!
Tomorrow more rehearsals PLUS me phoning Solar Panel home owners to Be Inspected in the only two days we have off from rehearsals....
So: & much
to you all: what's going on at your end?

Hi Terri... I thought I should just confirm that I am still alive and still following the thread, but you know how life can get sometimes.

Hiya Terri! Thanks for the update; I really hope Yoda is better soon!
You must seriously consider having Fritz 'done'. We've had a few male cats. All of them went out partying and fighting way too much ... were covered with sores and scabs until they had 'the operation'. Then they settle down a bit. Ours have been quite adventurous even after that, but it's a bit more manageable.
Sigh ... but male cats don't seem to last very long anyways. None of ours made it very far. While our female cats each lived well over a dozen years ... currently our cat Poplap is 12 heading for 13, and her mommy Kadoef will be 14 this year. Our other female cat Katix made it to 17. Anyways I hope all goes well with little Fritz .
Heh heh glad you enjoyed the St. Patrick Day's Parade!
At my end, I'm mainly busying myself with art these days. But I've also started a new 'hobby' ... computer archaeology! Heh heh actually I've been having computer nostalgia and thinking of the days way back when we first got a computer, a Commodore 64. We still have it. I'd like to hook it up again but at the mo there's no room in my room but I did get a C64 emulator that I'm running on *this* computer and I'm now learning to program it again! I also tried downloading C64 games but so far haven't got any of them to actually work yet. Anyways it's a bit of nostalgia for me.
All the best,
Willem
