A good bit of sleep, 5 and a half hours every night? God girl, how do you manage? I mean i am constantly tired with 7 hours a night, more at the weekends (unless Bryher's around).
And again wow! 7:35?? that's eeeeeearly! lol is that the standard for florida or the US or is your school just extra keen? lol the pretty much bog standard time for us is 9 o clock.. not many people would be able to concentrate at half seven!
Hey, ramble on all your like. Just with my vague attempts at humour (whatever that is! lol), you can't commit self-harm for talking! lol

And again, i thought that our college day was harsh, only 40 mins for lunch you say? that's bad x-( what our college does is it has 6 periods and no lunch break. then it will guarentee you a period off in either 3 or 4 for lunch. So, ignoring that break, use IBers normally get one or two free periods a day but sometimes none at all. We all have our worst days (mine is typically monday cos i have 4 straight hours of lectures with no break in between).

As for caller-id, maybe the americans are paranoid smiley - tongueout but naw, i think we have way less telemarketers than you, normally only once a month calls, sometimes not even that. normally when somebody calls through it is somebody that actually wants to talk to you! lol

And thanks for visiting it, the script isn't too good on it and it throws up a few errors itself but it is alright. smiley - smiley am hopefully making it better soon but that'll probably be procrastinated into the ground!

erm yeah, 24 CDS, from everything such as Tubular Bells to muse to slipknot and KoRn to Alanis Morrisette to god knows what else! Lots of music. I love all types of music (apart from teeny-bop pop, that really gets on my nipples!) smiley - smiley

And Bryher was away up in Nottingham which is a good 400 miles away, not easy access really! but she only went up for about a week in between the two weeks we hadn't seen each other for it was just how our other schedules worked out that meant we coudln't see each other. But we did and that was fun and she'll be around tomoz! Also tomorrow, I shall be doing a bit of work experience at the local hospital (which is very handily at the end of the street) and should hopefully be sorting out spending a day with my doctor, sitting in on his practise, which would be fun! Advice point - if you want to do medicine then get lots and lots of work experience ASAP! lol, everybody loves to see you working in the community... however, IB doesn't allow for much of anything other than IB so.. lol work something out..
Anyways, must toddle off, have fun and the like, hope you haven't had a bad day at school, message me when you get online! smiley - smiley

Don't have time for more...I don't notice it much during the day. Anyway, sometimes I get 6! and then there are the weekends to help me make it all up smiley - biggrin
You should have a good time with Bryher this weekend!
Oh it's the standard for most United States High Schools...Luckily our middle school started somewhere around 9 AM last year, so it was pretty ok. Half seven-no concentration? Well I have spanish first and it's pretty awesome so I get rejuvenated early on. They aren't that vague! I get them sometimes (and I'm dumb!) smiley - biggrin No, I'm sure you can't...'lest somebody else wants you to shut up, that is smiley - laugh
We have 7 period days, so less time in each period smiley - biggrin but more homework smiley - sadface Oh coolio! IT would be cool to have a changing schedule (mine is so damn rigid!). ARGH!!!!4 straight hours? You're insane!
Sure are! Not I...smiley - laugh I've got a friend who has now gone all around our school with a school map and marked out all of the school cameras and where they are, but it might have been so that he knows where he can set off his firecrackers at smiley - winkeyesmiley - wow Sweetness! We normally have 4-5 a day!
It isn't bad..don't dis it!
*smiles happily at Slipknot and KoRn along with Tubular Bells (because it sounds cool)* Alanis Morisette? Hmm a bit winy for my tastes...argh evil pop! EVIL!!!! You should listen to Weezer though...they are pretty good.
smiley - cool! YAY! Mmm what does this doctor specialize in? *is prolly gonna do hospital volunteering and library for CAS when it comes up..*
Hehe...school's never bad! It's always so awesomely incredible (not because of the teachers or the subjects mind you) , it's the work at home part that bothers me... smiley - winkeye Hope you've had a good day?!

lol, wow 6-o-clock eh? that early.. smiley - tongueout But yes, weekends, the brilliant time for sleep smiley - smiley
I have had a good time with Bryher, although she went yesterday rather than today. But still had a good time. I bought a CD wallet for all of my CDs, it can hold upto 128 CDs so I still have a bit of room left in there!! Tis really quite huge and has its own carry handle. but it is cool cos i can fit my cd player in there as well and also my huge over the ear headphones (but only just). At least I have room to expand my collection now (I only had a 32 CD case before)!

yes, btw, half7 and no concentration.. well at least, not from my end! but if it is standard across the US then i spose you get used to it in the end.
And argh to the "(and I'm dumb)" bit!! grrrrrrrr. lol one of my pet hates there, people proclaiming that they are dumb.. not to be sexist but it happens mostly with females and it annoys the hell out of me. (btw, this isn't a personal attack on you and I realise that ya probably said it in a joking way! smiley - biggrin)
lol, bet you also think you're fat smiley - tongueout

If you went around marking out where all the security cameras are in our college then you'd spend a fair few days doing it, there are quite a damned few! Well worth it though, there is minimal criminal damage around our place which is good, especially seeing as there are hoards of stupid teenage (male) idiots around that normally do that sort of thing.

Tubular Bells is cool yeah, classical music that sounds really quite modern. "Post-Modernistic Classical music"!
And Alanis Morrisette, some people don't like but then I bet you that most people could find a CD in my collection that they don't like. I also have Queen smiley - biggrin!! they rock and are my original favourite band. Bo Rap is the best song in the world and has been voted so by sooo many people sooo many times that it is unbelievable. Here in the UK it is the 50th year of the Top 40 Music Charts and, as a tribute to them, yesterday they played a 4-hour marathon with the top 50 number one hits over the past 50 years (voted publicly). Listened to it pretty much all the way through, lots of good songs on it. At number two there was still no sign of BoRap and, as a way of introduction into the number one number one the DJ simply said "Well you know what's number one don't you? (song plays) smiley - musicalnote Is this the real life..."
Absolute Brilliance. Last year also they had the top 100 songs of all time as voted for by the public. Guess which came number one there as well.. smiley - smiley Undoubtable proof that Queen are indeed the best band of all time. Bless Mercury's Soul!
Weezer I have heard but unfortunately don't have any of their music. am hoping to rectify this soon!
I recently compiled all of my music in WinAmp to see how many songs I have.. the verdict says? 2256 songs totalling 152 hours of music.. which rocks smiley - smiley

Ah, this doctor is what we humble Britons call G.P.s (i dunno if you have this abbreviation in the US). G.P. stands for General Practitioner and most people in the UK are registered with a GP. This is the doctor they go to before all else (unless specialists allow self-referal). Naturally they can have specialised in some area of medicine but, overall, they are supposed to be good at everything! As it turns out, I saw my GP at the hospital on Friday where I was doing this day of work experience and had a chat with him about it. He said that he wasn't happy with me sitting in on his patients on account of him being my GP and covering the area in which I live (thus the possibility that I know some of the patients on the day I am there increases). However, he passed my details onto a doctor that was happier with the idea and I should be arranging times to do this sit-in with him! Which'll be nice.

And wow, someone that thinks that school is never bad! Lucky ol' you I say! Normally, I would say college is very cool and a happy day but there are those days... lol grr. Mostly it either revolves around having either maths or german that day but luckily both are improving both in knowledge and confidence!
Anyways, the reason you have got a so unnaturally long message is cos i have this english essay I am supposed to do like, last week (lol) and I am busy procrastinating away! Not that I don't like english, it is just this essay that I am finding hard. Tis on a masterpiece of a book (The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy - if you can get your hands on it I suggest you read it, tis brilliant) and therein lies the problem. The book is so so marvelously complex and complicated that everything that I say a) does not do the book justice and b) can by proved and disproved by different parts of the text! lol it is that hard. DENSE! ah well, best go back to staring at it, mail me when ya have a chance, hope you have had a decent day which, you proclaim to have everyday! smiley - biggrin

1: How do you pronounce your name? I have an idea (kwheel) but don't know for sure. and
2: Where does the name "hootoo" come from? lol speak to you soon!

Why'd Bryher leave early? Glad you had a good time though... smiley - yikes 128!? Could you ever fill that up? Portable Cd player right? *shivers if it isn't*
Yes we get used to it!

Back to the dumb thing...aww yes. Girls do tend to say that alot smiley - doh rather a bit weird...*shrug* Sorry I annoyed you! smiley - biggrin I could also not care much less if I were fat or thin, though my friend was doing a science fair project or something on that (I am about 5' 8" or 5'9" as I never know and weigh somewhere between 130 and 150, though it's rather a broad spectrum isn't it? smiley - laugh Actually, that was from my last physical smiley - erm)Anyhow, mostly put that in for the height factor smiley - biggrin YAY! And I'm still a shorter person in my entire school smiley - yikes...
What kind of criminal activities do they do? *sadistic grin* not that I'd do them smiley - angel. Actually, most of the kids here are rather good, though you can find someone tied up or masking taped up running through the halls, and probably a few kids with CD players and porn or the like, and people that smoke pot out of school or skip classes. Also, plenty of kids will just drop into your conversations, but it's more fun that way smiley - tongueout. *walks around your school looking for security cameras* Yeah, but do you have like 7 vice principles in charge of discipline, rent-a-cops, crossing guards, and other teachers constantly on the vigilance for students around campus doing things they shouldn't? Not that they're that accurate or anything smiley - winkeye.
Wonderful way to describe it, that.
I can stand Alanis and most anything else, actually, just aren't my favorite. Well, most people are picky!
WAYHEY! QUEEN! Yippe! I smiley - love the wonderment of the Queen...
smiley - wow we even had that on the radio today! Was listening to it before I even turned on the radio though as well...a bit queer...
Queen was in quite alot of other places too near the top, perhaps? Fantabulous they are! hehe That's so smiley - cool! Yes blessed be! They are indeed the best band, and they've stayed together forever too! YAY!
Oh you MUST! I believe it is the green CD that is the best...I'm not sure though because I have a copy. smiley - erm I thas 'Say it ain't so' and 'Buddy Hollie' on it though.
smiley - yikessmiley - wowand smiley - tongueout That is JUST CRAZY! Does your computer have ANY memory left? smiley - laugh hehe I have more like 300 now, but Gawd...that's just scary!
I think we do have G.P.s...That makes sense though of course. Glad he could set you up with another doctor! Hehe on-job-training!
Aww well. It's rather crazy, but my friends never let me down in making me laugh. What maths you taking this year? I know people that could help you in German if need be...(?)What year? Well, some periods can be bad..let's just put it that way.
Yes, you told me you had an English essay due a bit ago smiley - laugh. Always the right thing to do..procrastinate smiley - biggrin. Well, it sounds rather like I've heard of it before actually, but if I ever find time to read it I will! Well, it needn't do the book justice now need it? If it did, you could write the book, and b)if it is a discrepency in the text somewhere else, perhaps that can be one of your main points? That the text constantly contradicts itself? Or does it have to be really focused? Yes, sorry it took so long to mail this, but I am busy...ARGH!
Have 1 essay in spanish and a poem for english due tomorrow, along with a 1,000 word (ok not that hard but MLA formatted) due Wednesday a test in Spanish Wednesday, a test in English Wednesday, and a whole bunch of other crap none of which I've started smiley - laugh. Hmm and my poem has to be typed with literary terms and I have to be off the comp in not too long I think *ponder*. smiley - laugh

1:My nickname is thusly pronounced quill like the quill pen, but I felt like being special and shortening Quillethe wherein I got Quille, but still pronounced the same. There are 2 l's so that it does not produce a hard 'e' sound for the 'i'..
2: The word hootoo stems from H2G2, only you sort of combine them. the 'H' makes the 'h' sounds and takes up the 'oo' sound of two, but is spelled oo for more convenience I guess. Also, the 'too' of hootoo is probably just pronouncing the two sound in G2, again accentuating the 'oo' sound with the letters 'oo' and making it easier to spell. I guess hoogoo just doesn't sound correct?
P.S. I sort of made that answer up in how I figured it...

HAH I found a picture of myself on my comp...yay!

Hello Quille!

Apologies for leaving this reply for so long, it is terrible at how I have neglected hootoo for the past few days but I have had MOUNTAINS of work to do of late and so have been REALLY working!! not procrastinating like usual which is really weird... lol smiley - biggrin
I am actually replying to you from college in a place that doesn't allow any "social e-mail" but of ocurse a) this isn't e-mailing and b) everybody social mails anyways soooo what's different? lol
According to your stats you are pretty much at the low end of the body-mass index so there is nothing to be worried about, lol. Can't believe that you are 5'9" and still one of the shorter females in your school, over here that is fairly darned tall! smiley - smiley
and we don't have 12 cops on guard at every entrance, we generally have a really well-behaved pupil population, just some people are pricks without getting into trouble! everythign that you said (smoking pot and skipping classes etc) can be found here at good ol' Truro college although they have expelled a good few people this term because they have 'cracked' down on pot-smoking - they even handed quite a lot of them over to the police! bloody well serves them right tho... not pot-smoking, that i can get - if they want to then sure, ok then that is their choice but doing it at college is just plain stupid... i guess that there are stupid people around tho!
Glad to hear you were listening to the radio and queen, they were indeed at the top a lot, can't remember what other songs there were tho cos the elation of bo-rap blocked out all others! lol
surprisingly enough, all my music only takes up about 6-8 gig (can't remember offhand) and i have a 20 gig hard-drive (sorry if i am confuddling you with techno-mumbo-jumbo, are you computer minded?)
And yeah, i think you do have the same as G.P.s although i can't remember what you call em.. ah well! smiley - smiley
Anyways, i have chemistry in a few, so i should truncate this message - i am at Bryher's tonite but she is getting her hair cut whilst i am there so i may steal her pc to write you a bit more, message you later!

Hey lo again Quille!

i'm no won bryher's computer but i am really un-used to it!! the delete and the shift buttons are really much smallewr than my keyboard (which is incidentally bryher's keyboard that she is lending me, she's such a dear lol smiley - smiley)
so if i do some really weird spellings then it is cos i am trying to do the trick of touch-typing (which i can normally do) but on this weird keyboard and just haven't spotted my mistake! i am sure you'll get it..
anyways, bit of news from my end as far as IB goes - i have been considering moving down to standard maths which is possible, even at this late stage.. i have to be entered by tuesday and so have to make my mind up by then. i mite get entered for both exams and see which i do best at but it mite not be able to work like that. i am also doing an a-level in maths so that mite be my saving grace as far as dropping a subject down is concerned.. i find higher Really hard and standard REALLY simple so i can get guarenteed points... but i will be pondering that over the weekend - i also have lots of work to do but luckily i don't have to look after my lil brother cos my mother isn't working either days (in case you wonder and feel tht it woudl be too much of a social faux pas to ask, ours is a single parent family smiley - smiley and gladly so!)

as for the god of small things, the trouble is that it doesn't contradict itself at all, it works beautifully but there are loads of ambiguities that double up as perfectly written metaphors! brilliant book really, simply.

anyways, best be off, bryher is abotu to start bugging me smiley - smiley lol she hasn't got her contacts in atm so she can't see what i have written smiley - biggrin

will speak soon (hopefully tomoz if i am procrastinating!!)

BenniBi! btw, thanx for those clarifications altho i will probably continue to say your name i said before - force of almost about to become habit, y'no? smiley - smiley lol byeeee

(I was going to reply to this in business class but I hadn't the time smiley - sadface)
Aww no problem! That's the beauty of the message board smiley - biggrin. Also, I have had that piling of work. Think it's just that 'time' smiley - grr. But that still doesn't mean I've stopped procrastinating smiley - winkeye Did all my math homework and spanish HW in math class, studied on the way to school, and did English packets in comp. class smiley - winkeyesmiley - laugh and I still haven't studied for the huge english test we took, I think I got a 100 though, so that's ok. *giggles* smiley - weird is GOOD! But not if it requires any amount thought...
Hehe..your place doesn't have bans and the like everywhere throughout the server?smiley - laugh true...
I find it incredibly strange, never been surrounded by REALLY tall people before
Yeah, most kids don't have it at school. They actually smoke outside of the campus. Not sure where they store it? Our middle school did that! they caught one kid (somewhat of a dealer, but he was a jerk anyhow so yay) and he told on others that smoked so that he wouldn't have to go to a jail (JuV) and they had like a 3+ page list of names in small type, so the end of the day they were all suspended and we couldn't even have P.E. class because there weren't enough people smiley - yikes. I'm sure stupid people are all around at most schools! My teacher was rambling on about going to school to learn and why go to school otherwise...etc.
smiley - laugh and rightly so! I'm going to make a queen cd very very soon! (along with a Beatles one..)
smiley - wow That's not that much at all! Freaky...And it does take a bit more than that to get past my computer knowledge smiley - tongueout. Hehe my friend was telling me about the computer he built today-it was incredibly funny because it was so shoddy! The hard drive was barely attached..
They are general practitioners..
smiley - laugh ok then! Truncate all you likesmiley - biggrin ( I know what the word means it just sounds funny)

*laughs heartily* Quite nice that smiley - winkeye Haven't you got your own? tsk tsk smiley - biggrin
Oh certainly! You don't make many mistakes. And you haven't really through this post either.
That's right! Exams coming UP!! smiley - yikes Are you sure that's what you want to do? I mean if you're taking A-levels I guess it doesn't matter much though does it? Well what exactly is standard maths..calculus? or? Tough decision! *ponders beforehand* Ick at work..I have lots to do too, but I really don't want to so perhaps I won't. Rightio! My mum's divorced from my dad (-the son of a b***h)(<-- That's not pent up anger smiley - winkeye), but we live with her sister, my aunt, and have done so for 9 or so years now (rather like a second parent). My brother will be leaving next year though smiley - wah. How old's your brother?
Hmmm...well that is a bit complex. Did you end up writing it yet? *smiley - runs off to see how many books she has to read on her waiting list* Only 20 or so, but they can wait..smiley - winkeye
smiley - biggrin Is she not supposed to? hehe..have fun!
Ooo do! (not sure if I'll be on though of course).
However you pronounce it is fine by me, not my real name anyhow smiley - winkeye--*likes the 'almost force of habit' statement*

UPDATES--Also, I wanted to let you know. There's been anupdate of DNA versions used on H2G2, if you hadn't seen them yet. Among the new gadgets are something to tell if a person is online (eyes next to the name in the posting you are in if they are and they won't be there if they aren't.) Also, there's a friend's list, which is located at the bottom of your space and to update and put friends there, simply click to their user spaces and the go to the far right (if in Goo skin) where their name is listed and it should have a link 'Add to Friends'. This will let you know about any new journal entries they post or any old ones that you are talking to them on. There's also been a complete cut of pre-moderation and some changes with a peer review link thingy and a new skin being used as a prototype (DNA light I believe). There should be more under a link on the Front Page. smiley - biggrin

smiley - cheers

hey you!
lol, to stop the split message thing, i have copied and pasted your text in this message from the previous message for the mo.. so if i forget to delete it, don't blame meeeeeee! smiley - smiley
Yeah, the piling of work has somewhat cessated but i now have two english essays to complete (different lecturers though..) and a few things to do for german, not too much. not gonna do the german today cos i left my folder at college but that is ok cos i have a few mins to do the work before my german lesson tomoz.
100 is certainly good, if it is percent that is (seeing as 100 out of, say 100000 wouldn't be that great.. lol)
and our server used to have bans on lots of things like going into hotmail or the such but those bans mysteriously disappeared last year.. we have a sophis tracking system though, which can tell the administrators when and where you have done stuff and exactly what programs are running now. they also ban you from running any programs of your own (an exe.ban) and routinely scan e-mails for naughty-words. Of course, they don't kick people off for minor stuff like naughty words but looking at porn or bombs on the net is never a good idea at college... lol
Personally i would fear for the kid who gave all those names.. he is gonna have a LOT of enemies - wouldn't be surprised if he was jumped nearly every week...
Good for you re: Queen CD.. as for the beatles, they are one group who i don't particularly like - not that I don't think that they were valid musicians but i don't think that there was anything special abotu the group as a whole... seperately i liked them, lennon was cool as well as harrison, macartney and who can forget Mr. Starr as the narrator of Thomas the Tank Engine smiley - smiley
I store most of my music in wma format which can take a 9 meg mp3 file down to a 3 meg wma file - much more space-economic! tis a bitch when you have to put them onto cd cos cd-r's wont take wma as a format so i have to convert them (imagine my fun with all of my copying of late!) but it is a small price to pay for lots more space!
He built a pc? lol i have seen it done enough times (my best mate can do them and knows all about the m/board settings etc) so i reckon i would be able to give it a shot but i'd prolly end up with one looking like your friends.. altho i should be able to attach a hard-drive smiley - smiley did it work alright or was it too badly done?
(thus comes to the end of your first message, i have the rest of your message below... smiley - smiley)
My keyboard - used to have one... i spilt red wine all over it and the d and g buttons simply ceased to work.. but ah well! so then i borrowed a keyboard off my best mate but then he wanted it back so i have stolen this spare one off of bryher.. i shoudl hopefully get one of my own soon but i doubt it smiley - smiley lol, but yeah when i get a new one, i shall be having to look right at the keys instead of relying on touch-typing - it is so great! smiley - smiley lol
i looked thru a standard maths paper today - literally laughing at most of the questions.. ok, standard maths is pretty much a little bit harder than the stuff you would have done in the grade in which you are 15 years old (grade.. erm.. 10?). the s.maths options (that one would only have to one of) are juuuuuuust touching on the stuff h.maths does.. for example, two s.maths options are introductory differentiation (the first bit of calculus) and, in h.maths, we go through ALL of calculus up to differential equations. the other option is matrices.. again only just touching on them whereas, in h.maths, we have to know quite a darned bit about em! so there you are - there is an expanse of knowledge in between standard and higher maths!
what happened with your family then? - explain a bit more pweese? x-)
my younger brother (the one i was talking about) is 8 (grrr, lol), my sister is 19 and my elder brother, who is off at university, is 21 (i think)
i haven't (as you may have guessed) written my english essay, miiiiite try a bit today but i really don't wanna! the other is a commentary on a piece from Things Fall Apart, which'll be easy. I also have Twelth Night by good ol' william shakespeare to read.. fun.. lol
and whether bryher is supposed to bug me or not, she does! lots! lol smiley - biggrin but i bug her nnnalmost as much! lol
what is yer real name then? g'wan then!!
OK, i saw the eye thing, which looked cool (until i read your reply tho i thought i was just being unobservant.. phew! lol) and i shall add you to my fwends soon! i haven't seen the new skin though, but i don't plan on changin from goo, cos it is cool smiley - smiley and the one i have gotten used to now!

Well done for your interim exams, *pats you on the back* keep on goin grrl! smiley - smiley lol how patronising.. oh and you said you had a photo, you put it on the net yet? if not, why nooooooooot!?!?!
my photo (with bryher) is at www.geocities.com/youragonyuncle/bryher_and_i.jpg (but the scan quality was bad and has given us blotchy skin! lol) or, just me (with someone's godson) at www.geocities.com/youragonyuncle/benn.jpg. GIMME YOURS! lol smiley - smiley

speak to you soon.

smiley - sorry I didn't mean to do that, you know smiley - winkeye
smiley - yikes2 English essays? That's just rather crazy! Doing work in school is always a rather good thing. smiley - biggrin
Aww yes the 100 was a percent smiley - blush. Kids hated me last quarter test, I didn't even study and I got a 99%, while they did study and only got like 70's (got highest grade in class) they just got a bit pissed..smiley - sadface
Mysteriously? smiley - winkeye Aww our computers have the tracking stuff as well, but it is easy enough to get out of (just have to press X on a window when the coputer turns on and it deactivates the program from running on your computer). Aww well we aren't allowed to go on e-mail anyhow so, they can take that off, and for bringing in your own programs, you can get expelled from the school system smiley - laugh. It's actually not a good idea anywhere in public ypu get in a lot of trouble for accessing that stuff, and in the U.S. everyone is so freaked out about terrorists, that if you were looking them up you'd probably be surrounded by a lynch mob and threatened to be at the very least hung...
I do believe the kid has been beat up a rather lot, but he prolly ended up giving away free pot (and making his ex girlfriend take the blame for the names on the list) And they still took him to jail.
Well, I do like the Beatles, but still am surprised they are SO popular and have been for a long time. People who don't even know who Monet was, know who the Beatles were and have heard their music. They are/were fabulous people apart...
Oi all that defragging and switching formats smiley - headhurts Yes, his does work fine. It's actually a really nice comp, just makeshift smiley - laugh He has to bring the fan in from his bathroom and put it over the back of his comp whenever he runs it and turn off all the appliances in his room...

smiley - laugh Well rather a long story about keyboards there. Perhaps you should buy a few extras if you get a new computer smiley - winkeye
Oh. Really? 10th grade here is Geometry and yes most people are 15 or 16 then. I don't really know much about calculus, but I know I HATE matrices. They are EVIL! And they're like 50 problems in one smiley - grr. Sorry Math is my worst subject (I have a farking 89% in it the evilness!)
My family? Oh when I was 4 my parents divorced, because my mom was working hard and my father was spending all of my mom's money on food and pointless crap and hadn't even paid the bills for months. We moved out, and went to stay with one of my mom's friends. My dad came and sat outside the house for a few days and it made the people uncomfortable, so my mom decided we would move. We then went to stay with her sister in Pennsylvania, then my mom went back to close up the divorce (my brother and I were only questioned once) as we stayed with my aunt through the process. She came back and we all lived together and we've made houses together and etc. We then moved to Florida together, as the town we were in was slowly being sold out. MY dad constantly was evil and never showed up on time to take us to his house on the mandatory weekend visits that we had to drive 2 hours to get there and 2 hours back. I have SOO many stories, but mainly that's an overview, though you still have no idea what my dad is like, or for instance, anyone else in my family smiley - winkeye. Aww yes and my mother had my father tested for emotion stability-he is not capable of feeling love. And he doesn't pay the little child support a month he is supposed to--aww well *shrugs* And he now moved to Florida about an hour away from us and we haven't really talked to him in a few years smiley - biggrin. How bout yours?! Do tell!
Aww I love little kids! (I'm calling 8 little. When I go over to my friends' houses I play with their little siblings quite often..smiley - laugh). You think he's 21? hehe..wow a rather Well, it isn't that necessary smiley - winkeye English essays get sooo boring sometimes!
I haven't read that one by shakespeare I don't believe (read most of shakespeare about 5 years ago..blargh..alot was rather boring. Cept a Midsummer Night's Dream, which was just confusing until I got to analyze it with a professor at a University. Haven't read the others either..too much to do smiley - winkeye
smiley - laugh Well what else is she supposed to do? smiley - biggrin
My real name is Glidopholus Gorgs...oh wait no it's not..it's Megan...Megan Gallagher. Nice to meetcha smiley - tongueout. Do I know yours? I'm sure it's somewhere in my mind..
That's what I thought, but I was reading backlog so by the time I got to the present I knew what it was so I didn't sound dumb. YAY! You're already on mine somewhere...I'm not sure if it's a new skin or just a new addition to the server. I know it helps digibox users though. I love GOO! Been to the fanclub yet?
smiley - ta for the patronising pats smiley - laugh
Well I haven't a site, but I can e-mail it...shall I?

Is that

Don't be sorry, it wasn't you who split the message up, twas me so don't you worry your head about it! lol
Yeah two english essays, an a-level portfolio piece, a huge biology experiment to do, chemistry questions to do, a ToK presentation to prepare and a ToK essay to do. Yes the work is mounting and once again I am wasting my time doing other stuff... well, I aint wasting it! The whole reason I am not doing my work tonite is because it is Monday and I am feeling crap. I get headaches every Monday and I am getting bored of them. Methinks they could be chronic migraines but I don't want to have them diagnosed cos then i'll have to put it on medical forms and the like.. lol
And yeah, I hate those people that can do work without trying.. or at least I used to until I realised that I could do it in a variety of subjects as well, just some that I have to work at... darned non-perfection, i'll work at it yet!
you aren't allowed e-mail at school? that's weird, at secondary school and college we are given our own e-mail account, which we can use but, as i said, filtered.
yeah I agree that public may not be the best place to view socially sensitive material, esp in the US where, as you say, everyone is freaked out. trouble is that everyone over here is freaked now. In the news recently has been the story of some men that MAY OR MAY NOT have been plotting to release poison gas in the london underground who MAY OR MAY NOT have been part of the taliban.. so all the newspapers ran stories playing up the *ahem* "facts" *ahem* of this story... grrr
to make it worse, i see the regional paper today (lemme just fill you in, our region is a region mainly of agriculture but, cos it is on the tip of the land, we have a few navy/army/whatever bases here as well). Well the paper has a huge headline saying "What if this was Al Qaide" (or however you spell it) - it was running a story of how some nuclear activists walked onto a nuclear sub when they weren't sposed to.. of course, this thing most likely happens all the time and, if the activists had posed a threat then they woudla done some damage but no, nothing happened, they just gt on - scaremongering? I think so!
good to hear he went to jail - no matter what wrong he has done, he is a betrayor for giving all those names.. i don't like distrust - bad thing - hence my philosophy of not lying cos it is bad.
that is silly that people don't know who monet is but do know about the beatles but reflective of our society.. :-S
unlike you, we don't split our years into learning one huge topic of maths, we do lots of lil parts.

oh no, the humanity, not 89%... nooooooooooooo smiley - tongueout sorry

SORRY for the almost split message - I wrote all that above yesterday and saved it to my pc cos I was feeling soooo bad that I went to bed.. got up this morning with the same bloody migraine so didn't go to college - spent up until 12 in bed then crawled out and did the chemistry questions that were sposed to in today - mailed them to the lecturer and ate jelly and cream smiley - smiley

Thank you, by the way, for sending my deets to Z, just messaged him as well. aaaaaanyway, back to your posting..

OK, thanx for telling about your family, now mine..

About 3 years ago (jeez, that long!) the marriage that my mother once had with father broke down. They never like argued or anything but father just wasn't appreciative of her and was really selfish etc etc. So he moved out after he realised that it wasn't gonna get any better and moved in with his brother (thus my uncle) who lives about 10 mins walk from ours. Became an alcoholic and one day, broke into our house (whilst no-one was in) to try and find clues as to who my mother could be with (at the time she wasn't with anyone). He was severely drunk at the time. anyways, he tore apart the house for a while. Then mother and sister came home from work.. father comes downstairs and asks sister to leave. when she doesn't he head-butts mother.. fists start flying (his) and my sister gets in between mother and father.. he eventually stops and goes and tries to get a piece of wood (presumably to use as a weapon) and they make a run for it down to the police station. Father barricades himself in the house and it takes a good few swings of the ram to get the door open. they take him away, arrested. I was told this during my lunch break, over the phone, whilst I was at school. Harsh.
So then time goes by and father self-admits himself to the psychiatric ward. Few weeks go by and father self-discharges himself. He was so wily as to self-admit so that he could just walk out whenever he wanted.. so no charges are brought against him but mother gets a restraining order brought against him between him and her and him and the house. We also get a panic button installed.
6 months go by and nothing happens (we hear that he has tried to commit suicide a number of times.. thing is that he tried exactly the same way (pills) with exactly the same number.. smell fishy?). We still get on with his brother (who kinda dislikes him for just moving in and then not making any arrangements to move out). 6 months and the restraining order comes off.. that was a tense night for us.. nothing happens though. Nor has anything happened between us and him yet. He has now moved out of his brothers after Rick (our uncle) told him that he was seeling up and moving out so he had to as well... as soon as he did, Rick mysteriously took the house off the market.. lol
He now gets to see Sean (my younger brother) who was too young to really understand it all and thus harbours no grief towards him. He regularly gets in trouble with the police, but hasn't been fully arrested yet, which really seems very odd.. i don't like him being on the streets and I consider him to be a p*** a** b****...
Mother now has Rob (much better guy than father) and has been with him for about 2 and a bit years.. great guy.
anyways, long story over with. It may sound horrific and terrible but it really wasn't that bad, just tense at times. I got over it and now live happily! smiley - smiley

I can't repeat what else Bryher is sposed to do smiley - winkeye at least, I don't think I am meant to, she might get a little annoyed with me, and we woudln't want that now would we? smiley - biggrin

Nice name, Megan. We don't have that name nearly enough around here but then I guess it really doesn't matter.. my name is Ben by the way (well, Benjamin) and surname is Hill. Altho I reckon you coulda get the Ben by yourself smiley - tongueout

You can e-mail the piccy yeah. Send an e-mail to the addy on my site and then i'll e-mail you from my main non-YourAgonyUncle address. Then you can send the pic via that address if you so wish smiley - smiley and the picture I posted up strangely doesn't work with the http thing so try it without.

It probably was, actually. I always do crazy thing like ruining stuff..smiley - tongueout I will try to stop worrying, but I think it's just in my nature smiley - winkeye
Dumb work...VERY VERY dumb to have work. ooo ill? Not good! smiley - hug Feel better every Monday then! Chronic migraines...read something about how to sstop them once. *racks brain to try and remember* Aww some freaky home remedies bit on the net. I bet the guide has some good entries if you're interested in looking. They certainly have some on insomnia...smiley - smileysmiley - laugh
Alot of people can do work without trying, it's the doing it well that counts smiley - winkeye Well of course you can! Are those imperfect subjects German and maths? And you will cure it, perfection is based on a preconcieved scale, but you may never be able to do your best as that is not preconcieved and can never truly be reached. Sorry, I managed to make that up this summer after someone said I did my best...I know I'm pathetic smiley - biggrin.
Oi! I think we're the only school that doesn't! Even Pennsylvania does that! Though it may be somewhat pointless..

Rather poor wording on my part, yeah. Sure poison gas would really ruin a whole lot of the london underground? Wouldn't it have to be a WHOLE LOT of gas to have it in high enough concentration to do anything and where would he get it..*ahem* oops not meaning to rant here...May or May not? They don' t know? Do they even have a guy or are they just making crap up now? Sorry a kid that sits in front of me in class today was talking about how some guy walked up to him and started calling him dirty muslim and cursing him out and nearly got violent and saying things like 'you blew up my country, get out' etc. REALLY pisses me off! Other than disgusting me beyond belief.
Righto then...I've got rather some ironic things to say about navy/army etc. (we have a Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps at our school for the army and all of the druggies and homosexual/bisexual people are in it, which I fine funny because I believe that the army still doesn't except any sexual preference other than heterosexual. smiley - laugh They're fabulous people, though!) Aww yes...those stupid things. Never read papers anymore. Anything like that I can pick up on the radio or by osmosis through school kids around. Papers play up everything, prolly a slow news day or something of the sort. Spent an entire 3-week class this summer cutting through journalism bulls**t and then making our own up. It is completely building upon pointless things that may or may not have had any relevence to the situation.
Agreed. Distrust is VERY bad.
Yeah well monet and manet can get confusing (though not really) but yes that is our society. Was talking to one of my peers the other day that I had to explain who Frances Bacon was and the bit about Baconians...smiley - yikes
Little parts? Sounds pretty nice to me! *wants little parts of math* smiley - laugh an 89% is rather bad! It will only get worse smiley - grr Aww and bad news..got a 99% on my English smiley - laughsmiley - tongueout
It's quite ok! Oh dear...not that smiley - sadface Feeling better now? Jelly and cream eh? Never had that myself, but we Americans are deprived of lots of jelatinous things smiley - winkeye
Yeps. he was talking bout it all, so I figured he might be able to help you, or at least have a logical discussion on the matter as I have NO clue.

OMG...that does sound rather awful. Never had anything like that with my dad (mine was much more like a child..when we went to Italy and we forgot to send him a birthday card, he wouldn't talk to us for 8 months [not that we minded smiley - winkeye]). And that admitting himself thing is really farking tricky of the b******d. smiley - grr I think I'd be forced to go at him with a large metal bat or something of comprable pain-causing ability if he did that to my family. Beating is REALLY REALLY pushing the limits. Were you ok when they called you at school? Sounds like he's rather weird to me. Oi! He's allowed to see Sean? Now, that is amazing. And scary. WOOHOO for your mom! And YAY for ROB smiley - biggrin Well, least it's somewhat over with.

smiley - laugh Naww then she might not do it!

Really? Don't like my name much. Too commonly used in the U.S. perhaps. smiley - laugh yeah, found it on your space when I looked Always liked the name Ben...everyone I have met by that name has been relatively smiley - cool

Oh erps...Sent e-mail to that address with pic (subject 'Quille's/Meg's pic')...sent a blank one without pic though too(subject 'Quille')...OOPS! smiley - sorry

I must have just gotten off last time you sent this. Would have been done and back to you earlier, but I had play practice til 6PM and then there was sposed to be a rocket launch (I live not far from NASA at Cape Canaveral, so I just walk out of my door and look at the sky through the trees), but it was delayed til tomorrow so I wasted 40 min. waiting and talking to neighbors. Hey Quille!

Feeling better now, i gave blood today as well! smiley - smiley I have read lots of stuff on chronic migrained/tension headaches - have been sent to the opticians, my blood pressure has been looked at - the only thing that i am being all hypochondriac about at the moment is that i might be mildly diabetic.. although, when i say it, it sounds silly even to me.. i wanna get some Benedicts solution which tests for reducing sugars (i.e. extra glucose) - that'd sway my opinion one way or another!

Indeed it is the doing it well that counts smiley - smiley those imperfect subjects are german indeed (i walked out of the german mock exam last year because i simply couldn't do it) but i am getting MUCH better at it and much more confident smiley - biggrin YAY! lol
Maths, I have been good but not recently (this year) - hopefully, now i have dropped it to standard, it'll be easier - of course, i still have to do a-level and that is still quite hard :-S at least, to me it seems like it is..
Good sentiments

Erm, the gas that they were talking about was QUOTEcyanideEND-QUOTE.. that kills at fairly low concentrations. But luckily they were "infiltrated by the secret service" and their dastardly plans put to an end. about an hour later, the ministry of defence press-release the fact that they had "nothing to do with it" ... and of course, there was the inevitable proof that they were the most villanous people on earth "They had lab equipment and coats" - I mean COME ON! they had lab coats?? jeeeeeees lock up all the scientists in the world then! grrr RANT!!!!! lol
Yeah, racism and homophobia and plain idiocy.. oh and I don't like evangelism, that kinda gets on my nerves too. And it is the apparent negligence that some religios people have - an example from my own life here - Jehovah's Witnesses come to the door. I am usually nice to these people and today was no different, i heard them out and accepted their magazines saying that i would try and read them.. so these things are, as with everything these days, all about terrorism and the threat of biological wafware. So I read on and I come to a bit that says "They could release anthrax or other, more deadly biological weapons like smallpox or the bubonic plague" At that point I screwed up the magazine and threw it away because anthrax has a much bigger kill factor than either the plague or smallpox.. much higher.. grrr, stupid things like that annoy me, that they don't even know what they are talking about..

Interesting that all the non-army people joined the army.. Oh and I think that the US has been forced to accept homosexuality in its ranks although it isn't smiled upon. Did all these people join up for the irony sake or are they wanting to fight for their country?

Aw poor you, having no clue! well I might reply to that convo in a min or i might leave it for a bit but you can tag along if ya want smiley - tongueout

Yeah, I had those feelings of aluminium baseball bats and I still harbour big wanting-revenge thoughts for him but in the end nothing'll come of it unless he tried to attack me first. I hope for that day to come really, which is an awful thing to say but I do want to say a lot to him without ever talking to him, if ya get me. But there ya go, it is just pointless revenge and I aint that much of an inhumane monster.

Well I like to think that I play up to your stereotypical view of people called Ben smiley - biggrin

Saw your pic, don't worry about sending it to that account, it didn't matter that much at all, was just me being all professional and all.. smiley - smiley lol at me being that.. hehe oh, I bought a suit jacket at the weekend - i now have a full suit smiley - smiley pretty darned sweet!

Do you enjoy the spave launches then? I am guessing that it is a bit like, seen one, seen em all? or are you still waiting that you'll see one of those unmanned craft go wrong and make big-bada-boom? lol

Anyways, i reckon thas'all for now! message me soon, although I might cut myself from the net for a while soon cos I REALLY have to do those english essays.. lol

Byeeeee!

Ok I swear I'll get to this sometime! It's just that I'm so busy smiley - grr. I just didn't want you to think I'd forgotten you. Not sure how much I can reply to now, but I will try!

Giving blood doesn't normally make you feel better smiley - erm Glad you're feeling better though! I've never even heard of Benedicts solution. Sounds nifty though, and I really hope you are NOT diabetic whatsoever. Really screws ya up smiley - sadface

You can just walk out? That would scare our teachers..we'd have to go to counselling for years smiley - tongueout. So you did drop down? Right! It all sounds entirely confusing to me.

smiley - laugh Aww that's hilarious. Common mockery..OooO a crazy scientist-let's all run!!! *giggle*

But evangelists are so funny! They actually have television stations with evangelists on them 24/7. It's so hilarious. Whenever Jehovah's Witnesses come to our door (which is almost never) we just tell them that we don't believe in God (which is the truth) and they quickly move away from our door. smiley - winkeye Well it depends on the kind of anthrax actually. Small pox could be much worse than anthrax (as they bothhave forms of inhalation to start the disease) in a certain situation, while the bubonic plague is easy enough to take care of now that we know what it is. Well at least that's what I think as far as I know. Should prolly do more research on it though.

Hehe I thought so. Well it makes sense...they actually want to serve their country, not just for irony. Or perhaps it is because they get free education out of it and it's the only way quite a few of them are ever getting out of their hometowns.

I've been tagging along a bit, but then I ran out of time. Must catch up on backlog!

I guess so smiley - sadface But still...smiley - grr Wouldn't serve much purpose afterall.

Yeppers! My sterotypical view of people named Ben has not been tarnished. smiley - tongueout It has of course, been added to through statistics. 2/3 people named Ben that I know are also very funny smiley - biggrin

smiley - laugh Good! Thought I had done something wrong again...What kind of suit? Cotton, polyester? Color? That's pretty cool!!!

smiley - laugh Naww don't want to see anyone go kaboom. Wastes our tax dollars smiley - winkeye I enjoy seeing them. It's one of the most amazing things actually (perhaps that's just cause I actually know what's going on though?). It is just so beautiful. They're actually all different. Different days, different times, different objectives, different crafts. I have an obsession with space-if you hadn't figured it out from that paragraph yet smiley - laugh

Pshaw..did you ever get them done?

Hehe I went to a school play yesterday night. 'Twas fabulous! They had to do Brit, Australian, and Scottish accents as it was about the first British Penal colony in Australia (you find yourself drifting into the accents at times smiley - biggrin). Do you find Americans talk strangely in your opinion?

See ya!
smiley - elf
Aww yes well that's a long story, but not nearly so long as my other nicknames' stories. Well Quillethe Liadon was an elf character I created for a Dungeons and Dragon RPG I never got to play. I loved the name so I used it for my psuedonym in a "book" I wrote about religion (it's complete crap but still really funny as I wrote most of it at 3 AM during a year)and it converted a few people to be much more open-minded on religion smiley - winkeye Then I shortened it to Quille, because it remind me of a quill pen, which shows writing and it is really cool. smiley - biggrin

Don't you even start to worry about not getting back to me - I totally get the whole work work work thing, especially with IB! smiley - grr I too have had the build-up of work although one good thing has happened:
The english essays? (member them?) well one of the teachers was concerned about the way that not one of us had given in an essay so she set us a timed essay for in lesson which we did today, i found it quite easy cos i can BS at a pin's drop! The other english essay has been given the status of World Lit 2 now and so I have much more time on it than previous - YAY! smiley - biggrin very happy

Benedicts solution is a reagent that turns red (if i remember correctly) in presence of heat and reducing sugars such as glucose or frcutose etc etc - basically it tells you whether you got sugar! Which is useful when diagnosing diabetes and is usually the first test of it. However, it doesn't mean that you are diabetes if you have sugar in the urine, you may just have a low threshold for glucose in the kidneys... it is all very complex but (for me) quite intriuging! But there you go! lol

Yeah, although they don't look happily on the walking out thing (the teach's that is!). I didn't get into trouble for walking out though, i got help which is why I love my college - they are sooooo cool about stuff like, y'no, failing! grrr8t But since I have had a different teacher I have been steadily getting better at german, so I haven't needed the extra help that I thought I mite - I didn't have a good rapport with last year's teacher so I guess that that didn't help.

Evangelists can be funny, I think that the way they have seemingly monopolised markets and cornered the "old granny-will donating" thing...
I am not an epidemiologist so I can't denounce your claims intelligently smiley - tongueout aaaaaaah i dunno! lol

I now have a black (i think cotton, not so sure) dress jacket, which looks pretty swish. I get to use that baby in action on Saturday cos I have work experience at ma doc's surgery - which should hopefully be fun - i get to see lots of conditions and symptoms - fun fun fun! smiley - smiley

I shouldn't really get a kick out of learning when I learn from people in distress/pain etc and I guess I don't get the kick out of the pain thing!!

cld ya take any pictures of the launchings? Woudl be interested in seeing this man-made beauty. Incidentally I did my ToK presentation yesterday, on the subject of Beautality (made-up word) - basically the human's perception of a human's beauty. It went swimmingly smiley - smiley

Americans talk funny? They talk with an American accent but then an American accent is different depending on what part of America you are talking about. I notice the accent because there are so few Americans around but then I notice black people more than I woudl notice white people because, living where I live, there is only like one black person for every 50 whites. Luckily, this out-weighing of minorities doesn't actually lead to racism which is always good smiley - biggrin RACISM SUCKS!

lol, I used to play D&D for a while, went to a national tornie (after being crowned the best player in the best regional group smiley - biggrin) but we came like 6th out of 8th and our group (well me and a previous best friend) nearly came to blows a few times.. the atmosphere, whilst on the whole was cool, was filled with a bit of tension smiley - sadface but ah well, in the past and I don't play it now. Our team was called cremfarbig von dryk tansys which was a mixture (and a grammatical nightmare) of german and cornish (a form of celtic spoken in Cornwall, the place I live) - it means cream of the dragon spawn and we had great delight trying to hear the guy say the name announcing that we'd won - of course, by that time we knew that we had won cos they went in reverse order so the guy ended up saying "yeah, the team that's cheering"

But anyways, enough from me. your turn smiley - tongueout

smiley - biggrin It's not that I'm really working. Except on my essay, which I have made into a Guide entry and then not on that either. I actually need to read it over for the first time soon as it's due Wednesday smiley - erm. Woohoo on the essays. Now, see if you HAD written them it would have been a complete waste. Procrastination is always the best way to go smiley - winkeye. I belive BSing quite fabulously at any point in time is a world-wide IB neccesity. Happy is VERY good!
Right. That actually does make sense *shudder* But if it turns red in the presence of heat-what degree of heat? 98.6 and above kind or what? I find it rather interesting as well, so you aren't alone in that aspect.
Don't know why they don't like people just getting up and leaving (well I do, but I jsut wanted to say that, so it stays smiley - winkeye). Cool about stuff like failing? As in many people fail or? You can't believe how many people are failing classes and such at my school (well you probably can, but oh well). It's scary! It helps if you have a teacher that likes you, and is willing to help you LEARN and not just sit through lessons because they get payed for it. Glad you are getting better at it! I'm sure you'll be the German wiz kid sometime soon smiley - winkeye.
I flip on the Evangelist channel when I want to laugh. Last time I turned it on this lady was talking about 'if you look into the past, it's the land of the Dead. God doesn't want us there! He wants us to be in the present, the land of the living. If you live in the land of the dead, and keep looking at the past, you start looking like the dead, acting like the dead, and even SMELLING like the dead. No wonder people that live in the past don't have any friends, they smell bad!' It was all VERY confusing and then they asked for money smiley - biggrin.
I can't make claims intelligently, so it's all smiley - oksmiley - tongueout

smiley - bigeyes You MUST tell me how it all goes! Hehe. Of course you should. If you didn't you wouldn't want to learn, hence you would never be able to help them in the future, and you aren't a sadist so there.

I'm not sure. It's REALLY hard to get a time pinpointed since they opened after Sept. 11 (A LONG time after Sept. 11th they opened, too). Their times are like on Friday somewhere between 11 AM and 9 PM there might be a shuttle launch of Atlantis if the weather cooperates and all else goes well. Otherwise, it will be some other time smiley - laugh. Oooo right smiley - cool that! What did you decide mostly made up the Beautality?

Just like British accents from different part of England, no? It's strange. I've been told by other Americans that my accent is really strange, but I don't have an accent (though I can do some pretty rad ones with a bit of effort). Right, so a black American there would stick out like a sore thumb, as it were? I'm SOOO glad that is doesn't bring about any racism. And yes, RACISM is awful and one of the smiley - bleeping worst things around, and if anyone is bloody racist around me, I will kick their arse until they decide that it is a rather dumb thing to be.

Did you? I haven't gotten to play yet smiley - grr That's really smiley - cool! Tension of what? That rather sucks smiley - sadface. smiley - laugh I have heard of Cornish actually. smiley - laugh Rather an interesting name to have. That sounds like it was quite an interesting adventure?

Well, I've finally managed to get around to typing mine up, so there smiley - biggrin. How'd the suit-wearing go?smiley - tongueout

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOk

time for re-replying! hang on - the word, replying - that should be split into the two words 're'-'plying' so what is the verb to ply and does it have anything to do with returning an opinion? NOO! lol sorry, went off on one there, i do that sometimes, notice the idiosyncracies of the english language. You'll probably tell me that the word should be split into something 'repl'-'ying' or something!

but aaaaaaaaaanyways

Bryher is off at a concert today (playing, stage crewing and singing!) and I am gonna see the same thing tomoz, staying over her house, so i am happy with all that smiley - smiley
Oh, didn't go to the doctor's today cos they changed the system - now you ring them up on the day you want to go to them and, if you ring too late, you can't get a place. So I am gonna go there at quarter to 9 tomoz morning and get the worm. Should work. Am now on my fast though - for a blood glucose test you can either have it random or fast and, because i will be going early in the morning, just after breakfast, the food will only just be digesting and the blood glucose will be low anyways - so i am going on the prescribed 14 hour fast that will hopefully make it more accurate. But hey, 14 hours without food? lol i think that i am already feeling hungreee-heee-heeeeeee! (imagine a whining voice on that last word)(am allowed plain water though!)

Back to the replying (you know, with reference to yours! lol, wow!). It turns out that, because i didn't do my english essay in the first place, i got a better mark - i got a seven on the timed essay, which was good, although it was a low 7 so gotta make it up to a high 7 to be really cocky and confident! smiley - smiley

ah yes, the Benedict's solution goes red (or orange or whatever lol) when heated for about 10-15 mins at about 40 celcius - better if you leave ti longer at a higher heat but same eventual result

They aren't cool about us failing but they are cool about helping us when we need it, which i guess is a really really good thing!
How many people are failing? And is that proven or paranoia abotu marks coming from all angles? Cos i know a helluva lotta people that think that are doing really badly but when they get results, they are nicely surprised... and i am usually looking over their shoulder going "I told you sooooooooooo!" smiley - smiley

I liked the evangelists line of thinking until they ask for money.. but i guess they prey on the sort of people that want to give money to *ahem* God.. do you listen to ICP, cos they have a really good song called Hallelujah that just makes me smile everytime smiley - biggrin

Well if you catch some pics of the launches and get them past the FBI then post em this way! smiley - biggrin Don't worry specifically about going out and getting them for me, just if ya happen to!

Ah yes, the ToK presentation - well i just linked how we see beauty to all the areas of knowing and the ways of knowledge, made for pretty boring viewing really and the marks refelcted it - 'satisfactory' So because i want all three 'bonus' marks, i am going to do another one - watch this space!!

Yes, british accents vary from country to country (welsh and scottish for instance) from large city to large city (brummy (ask Z) to scouser (Liverpool)) and from county (state) to county - even neighbouring counties like cornish and devon - if you accuse a cornishman of spekaing like a devoner then you'd better run fast.. lol

Ah tension was about the fact that we were pretty much at the end of our friendship and getting on each other's nerves all the time. But hey, smiley - bleep happens!

The work experience was really fun (not in the running around getting blood to a patient otherwise they'd go into a coma, but fun nonetheless.. lol) The only thing that smiley - bleeped up my day was the fact that i got a migraine later on in the day but i was only in the surgery for half the day anyway so no worries about that. But the bad thing is that I have had a headache 5 days out of the last 7, not a good record! So off to the doctor's tomoz, wish me luck smiley - biggrin

Off to have a glass of water, prolly go straaaaaaaight thru me! ah well, bye for now!

BenniBi smiley - biggrin
