Hi!
You've got the please of myself acting unilaterally to finally invite you along to the bugfinders. Just pop over to yahoogroups and find the h2g2bugfinders-public group, and click the big blue join button (save me having to figure out your email ).
Hopefully no one will mind

Ta very much, Spelugx! I just did that.
Incidentally, you might find it quite difficult to find out my email address, but you should be able to guess.
~
PS -public? what other lists are there?

Any other lists are just figments of your imagination. They do not exist. I think all the active members are on -public now.

Addendum: I can probably find your email from the other h2g2 yahoo groups (if I can remember your realname that is!). (An active member is basically someone who belongs to -public, or knows why it exists (even if it has to be explained repeatedly )).

You can probably guess my yahoo ID, which should be enough to search your emails by the X-Yahoo-Profile header.

Great!
Are you sure that you want individual emails from the group? It's quite high volume at times. I tend to either read emails on the Yahoo! Group site itself, or select Daily Digests to avoid inbox explosions.

Yep. I was just thinking the same. Digests will be fine.
I know spelugx (obviously intentionally) avoided the subject, but what is the difference between a "full" and a "public" member of the bugfinders, if you don't mind me asking?

The public group isn't quite so bad on the volume front. The main difference between the membership status is how much the other members spam you with messages, but there's also some subtler points to do with some of our more militant earlier activites and good eyesight

They also don't get access to the shared persona, but that mainly through accident.

What about mine? And yours? They're plenty nefarious. It is however quite useful that not everyone can see quite how... 'interesting' we are . I suppose we do have an unlisted honoury 'full' member though, but he's busy.

Right. Thanks for the description. I seem to understand.
Still, if there's an Italic at the same level as me, I'm fine.

Mina only receives messages sent as 'Special Announcements' by the group, although she could read any of the messages by going to the Yahoo! Group. Therefore, she rarely posts.
