Merry Winterval my lovelies, eat, drink and be excellent!
If you want a xmas card check out Katy Towels 12 Deaths of Christmas.
I myself have done the being merry part by going to 9 Lessons and Carols for godless people with the awesome Tim Minchin, Dara Briain and Richard Dawkins. Was most excellent.

Ooh, that 9 lessons thing sounds awesome. Was it a tour or a one off?

For a look at some of the awesome art from Katy Towell. Which includes that mention in the OP.
No, not part of a tour, but hopefully the first part of a new atheistic yearly xmas tradition. Some atheists enjoy xmas, or are just not fussed either way... I loathe it in all it's false promise, cheap tacky hypocrisy and obligatory hollow cheer.
Having an event with a chance to see and hear Richard Dawkins doing a reading live was cool, as though I've heard his message before and seen and heard many recordings it was still satifying to im without the aid of a liquid crystals or cathode ray tubes or compact discs. And excuse to laugh with three and a half thousand like-minded people at comics and performers of real wit and world beating quality really took the edge off what can be cold time of year for the soul.
It was the 3rd show of what started out as a one show event at the Bloomsbury. After they sold out the 400 seats they added a second date, which also sold out, so this third date was added at the Apollo which seats maybe 3500-4000 -- and charges more than 4 quid for a pint of Guinness Extra cold , but at least popping to the bar buy saved me from listening some awful twat performing on stage a song about Gary Glitter, I think it was, evening atheists can get it wrong -- the only empty seats I noticed were the 3 spread either side of me, which is cool as I hate being squished in amongst folk.
This evening had the finale of Tim Minchin performing this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbK7p8eA7D4
Tim Minchin I thinks of as a kinda contemporary Tom Lehrer, in that he be a satirist of great observational wit and genius who frequently uses a piano.
I'm happy to say I will be seeing him at the Camden Roundhouse. And hopefully acquiring some CDs and DVDs as souvenirs.
