I thought maybe I could try cutting my arm off. It might raise a smile.

Only if you video it and put it up on YouTube. (I was thinking about gnawing my own leg off and doing the same. We could compare filming techniques.)

The view from the window of my new room is really breathtaking. I could gaze at it for hours, and have done. I can see for miles, across trees and flower-filled meadows and drystone walls and distant hills. There are birds, bees and butterflies, rabbits, sheep and cattle. I get to see a lot of sky, too, with its broad cloudscapes and sunsets. It's wonderful. I hope I stop crying soon.

Goes to show it's all relative I guess...

Maybe we should all cut off one of our legs, and post them to each other, and each have a 'origional' and a 'borrowed' leg... might be amusing to then watch us attempt to walk as the legs won't be the same size/length anyone want one of my ears?

hrm. I'd like someone else's ankles, daintier ankles would be nice... I like my feet though, no-one's having them...

OK, so Robyn gets Snailrind's leg for her ankles, I get Robyn's leg 'cause I'd like to try something a little more fem, 2legs gets my leg as the only one who could lift it and that leaves Snailrind with 2legs' discarded appendage.
Is that to everyone's satisfaction? It's just I've got to get this chainsaw back to the hire shop.

*gets many pots of superglue from the cupboard*

Ooo eck... glue... I couldn't find any so I've mixed some flour up with water, do you think that'll be good enough?

Best way to find out is to try it. You could always add some man-glue if things get desperate.
I've got some bin liners and some ice so that'll hopefully keep your leg fresh for Snailrind.

Yesterday I visited my The Mother in hospital. I said 'Oh, of course!' as she made her crack about my hoping the surgery had killed her so I could sell the Beswick china horses.
I think tomorrow after taking her her Horse & Hound and Lucozade, I'll head out to check on Annie cat and make use of The Mother's washing machine. It's been about a year since mine expired.
Recently I've been missing Robbie more than usual. He's 36 this year, not bad for Shetland . Haven't really seen him or the others since The Mother became too unwell to be responsible for them.

Sorry I'm so antisocial at the moment.

Has she been at the hospital for long? I wasn't aware of her being in, just thought she was getting home care.

She went in on the 12th. That did a surgery on her the next day. She was allowed home today.


Aye, Robbie is indeed a proper Shetlander, it was the land of his birth.

Glad she's home! hope it's all good news.
