Stealth "Jack" Azathoth

Saw a new consultant today... hasn't made any changes to my meds yet, waiting on blood tests.
I don't know how much I trust him yet, not being one for taking people on first impressions but I can say that I prefer him to my old consultant... The approach and attitude is very different...

Yesterday my GP declared me unfit for trial due to my suicidal ideaisation

I've e mailed Stephanie... the upshot is that I want to move us into very close friends rarther than somethinng more because I've been doing alot of thiking about what it's fair to ask of a girl... and she is only a girl, she is 16smiley - sadface

Tomorrow I go to TC&SU!!!!!!!smiley - wowsmiley - boingsmiley - brave

Tis good news indeed, though if I start to get better, I then have to go to court which is not cool...

I take it you are ok with blood tests? I hate them and wondered how i could overcome this ... is it really meant to hurt?

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

I used* to hate injections, blood tests etc... A year, on and off in hospital, and for most of the time I still did* hate them, really* really* hate them....
the last time I had to have an injection; two blood samples (why two?), and an injection of a 'contrast' agent to allow the scan to get better results, I didn't mind, I couldn't believe it, but i really* just didn't feel them anymore, well, obviously I could* feel it, but it just wasn't painful anymore smiley - weird

so what you are trying to say is that it takes loads of injections etc until you don't worry or feel pain anymore

I don't like needles [who does?] so I look away as it goes in, but I like watching the blood fill the vile... A blood test shoudn't *hurt* but yes you should expect to be able to feel it...

I'm OK with them, as long as I don't watch them go in. Likely it's because I donated palsma for awhile, so I was getting stuck twice a week. Bit harder when the needle's going into Faith though...

Either they aren't doing it right or you have a very low pain threshold...

I think I have a low pain threshold ... perhaps the nurse did it wrong though cos if i remember rightly she had difficulty trying to find the place where i was meant to be injected... other injections in my shoulders haven't hurt much
