John Creasey
I started collecting pulp fiction in the late 1980's and soon came across John Creasey and his many aliases. The publishers blurb on the jacket of one mentioned the many hundreds of titles and I felt challenged. Would I be able to track down a copy of each? At prices of 5 to 50 pence a throw I felt game.
Since then I have of course found other things to do with my life but still have to look if I pass a bookstall or jumble sale though I will now pay a little more for those special editions that I need.
I have read every single book purchased but will always be an Inspector West fan, though George Gideon runs a close second.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
