I'm working on something over at A1310149 - the Royal (I'm King) H2G2 Historian's Society, which focuses on making better entries on history for the guide. Care to join?
I know it's not your specialty, but entries like Mozart's death, Chinese Foot-Binding, etc more than qualify you!

there's a history society here. well i never... then again, i don't think there's anything h2g2 doesn't have 
it sounds like it's for a really good cause. how do you guys intend to fulfill your primary objective? and does one need qualifications?

Our primary objective? Well... not a very specific one, but to help keep the quality of historical entries. I stole the idea from Number Six and his Geographic Society. 
No specific qualifications needed. I think you'd be very useful to have around. If you're interested, the instructions are on the page
