to celebrate or not???

This time last year, I was counting down the days to my 50th.
There were big plans and loads of celebrations.
Loads of cards and pressies.
A day trip out with certain friends and rellies and then a meal out on the night with others.
I had loads of cards and well wishes and general fuss from everyone I knew at the time.. Both online and in real life.
This year..... its just a few days to go and I havent even given it another thought. No plans made. No idea as to what I would like for anything. Pressies or activities..
Ive been told I have to celebrate as its in 'the rules'.. (whose rules, i dont know)
All i know is..... i dont want to be 51 on sunday

now get your dirty minds back out of the gutter 
for those who dont know....
jim has had to give up his pc. it was costing too much to keep fixing and running. so he is resorting to use the digibox and activemail address. he can be reached on there. if you need his address, mail me and i will send it on.
ive just had a mail from him saying that jinty is ill. she is staying with her brother and hasnt got access to a pc. she is expected to stay there for a few weeks yet. so it sounds bad.
i will keep in touch with jim and see how things are going and report back as he hears from her.
get well soon jinty.

im sorry that i havent been around much, but life hasnt been too good this year
both in real life and online. both medically and spiritually.
i cant wait for 2005 to finish.
so i would like my present from to be.....
serenity and peace and tranquility.
oh, and the odd box of 
and 
and bubble bath and possibly some jewels and a new wardrobe.
maybe a trip to the bahamas

Why is it ?

Why is it, that when im using the digibox and lurking(as you do)..
i see loads of interesting external sites, that cant be accessed, via the said digibox..
i try and remember them, for when im next on the pc and typically, i cant.
i backtrack over the places ive been and i still cant find them
i really must learn to write out where i saw them

Dear Mom

A mother was passing her daughter's bedroom and was astonished to see that the bed was nicely made and everything was picked up.
Then she saw the envelope propped up prominantly in the centre of the bed.
It was addressed... 'Mom'.
With the worst premonition, she opened the envelope and read with shaking hands..
Dear Mom.
It is with great regret and sorrow that im writing to you.
I had to eloped with my boyfriend, bacuase i wanted to avoid a scene with you.
Ive been finding real passion with John and he is so nice even with his piercings, tattoos, beard and motorcycle clothes.
But its not only the passion mom. Im pregnant and John said that we would be very happy.
He already owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter.
He wants to have many more children with me and now that is one of my dreams too.
John taught me that marijuana doesnt really hurt anyone and we will be growing it for us and trading it with his friends for all the cocaine and ecstacy that we can get.
In the meantime, we pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so that John can get better. He sure deserves it.
Dont worry mom, im 15 years old now and I know how to take care of myself.
Some day im sure we will be back so that you can see your grandchildren..

Im over at the neighbours house.
I just wanted to remind you that there are worse things in life than my report card, that is in my desk drawer.
