I too have been very good,as always,of course,goes without saying really.But will he bring me a brand new kitchen and put it together for me perfectly and not swear once when he bangs his thumb with the hammer once again ?? I think not. i dont know what father christmas is bring me yet, but either im getting too old or its the state of things these days, but there doesnt seem to be the same christmas spirit that there used to be.

How very true Helen ! It's not the same at all,even Xmas shopping has lost it's magic.Everyone used to smile and say Merry Xmas,not now ,they walk around with their heads down looking gloomy !!! strange isn`t it when you are female growing up your mum tells you not to talk to strangers beware of dirty old men if any come near you scream and run away, don`t take sweets of them ect. then coming up to christmas they tell you while your asleep this old man with a beard will sneak into your bedroom and leave you all these presents and if you wake up and see him you mustn`t scream or make a noise and they even take you to the supermarket and make you sit on his knee while someone takes pictures...hahahahaha.

I love open long forgotten threads just to see who is lurking on the other end..just like the one i opened about a motor made from a piece of buttered toast fastened to the back of a cat..a cat always lands on it`s feet and toast always lands butter side down so if you drop a cat with buttered toast stuck to it`s back it will fall then start spinning before either of them can touch the ground..read it, it is around somewhere..Hi Jackie how close a friendship are you allowed to have oooops is kisses allowed..if not pass them on to Helen
