Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear }

I called on you briefly, some time ago, after a brief meeting in the Tea Shoppe. I no longer recall if it was under a previous name of the Reverend Something or Other (U673784) or this "more-the-real-me" handle.

In any case, a mutual smiley - dragon friend has suggested that you are a bit uneasy about someone calling, as she is. You are more than welcome to call on me, for general chatting and exchanges, if you like. And I'm sure this mutual friend will give me a good referral.

For openers, you can try me at nick dot j dot keip at hotmail dot com.

Do have a good week-end, Lady.

Nick

good mornin nick smiley - smiley

thanks for stopping by. fancy a smiley - coffee

yes, i do remember you and have seen you name dotted around the place. im a great lurker smiley - winkeye

as much as i love hootoo, there are times when the privacy of IM or mails is needed.
im a great believer of only letting the general public know what you want them to know and even then, you can get into a lot of trouble smiley - laughsmiley - laugh

there..... now let the lurkers try and make something of that smiley - tongueoutsmiley - nahnahsmiley - run

as for the weekend.. im getting the paint pot out. ive got a room that hasnt been decorated for many years. its where all the junk is stored..
im a hoarder and my philosophy is dont throw anything out and you never know when you might need it..
so i have my work cut out, shifting the junk to make room for the decorating and then putting the junk back in a tidier order than before.. and hopefully throwing some of it away in the process..
fat chance smiley - laugh

smiley - ta for the offer of a smiley - coffee, good Lady. One can never have too much of that, at 4:dark:30 smiley - laugh

I do agree, there are times and situations where IM and the mails really are the only option. You're more than welcome to call on mine ... from there, one that's been set up specifically for hootoo friends, other connections and IM can be exprressed.

For the first 18 years of my military time, I serviced and repaired an amazing number of TV's, stereo systems, pretty much anything with a power chord. On occassion, something would prove far too expensive to repair, so I'd be told to "keep it for spare parts". When it was time to move for one last time, I sent 4 truck loads of such clutter to the waste site. So indeed, I know the pack-rat syndrome. smiley - laugh

We've owned this house a bit over 5 years, and so far painted or altered half of it. Base on that, I wish you much smiley - goodlucksmiley - goodlucksmiley - goodlucksmiley - goodluck with your painting.

Later, ... >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>smiley - tongueout

Just as it reads in the first post, ... of course substituting "dot" for ".", and the "at" with an "@" It is not a Messenger type of account, but a common ISP.

Or try this one, with a little modification ... nick_j_keip @ hotmail dot com.

I have precisely 3 talents when it comes to gardens, ... digging, paying for stuff, and watering the results. I was born with a black-thumb, not a green one like Venus. So unless you want a lot of dead vegetation, I am NOT your man, dear Lady. smiley - laugh

apparently Taureans are supposed to be brilliant gardeners... they got that bit wrong..smiley - laugh

i dont actually kill things off and i do love looking at nice gardens and plants etc etc, but when it comes to the actual toil and struggle... forget it.

i only do what i have to do out of necessity, to try and keep things under control.
if i had the money and labour, i would have the whole thing slabbed or concreted.

maybe i should have been under another astrology sign smiley - rofl

I have offered to pave over the entire property. Which is 66 feet wide and about 110 feet deep. Then paint it green. So much less grass to maintain.

Oddly enough, m'lady has declined the offer. smiley - laugh

We seem to have established a pretty good balance. There is nothing that is defined as "man's work" or "woman's work". Just some things are more suited to me, and she is far more efficient at others. And she's damned handy with a paint-brush, an electric sander and anything else that she dares to try.

Oddly enough, she leaves my circular saw, chain saw and snow-blower alone? smiley - doh
