Our two boys alternate between curling up together and fighting. Looks like we might get a serious fight one day (sure hope not
) It starts as nothing and then one snaps, yet if I pick a fight (or anyone/thing else) with one, the other jumps to his defence. Dogs!!
Did you hear about Morts cat? Poor S fell into the sink. That probably scared her far more than H in a stream.
Hey. Both Aces online at the same time too. You gals plotting something or what?

Us? plotting something? never
Thanks MA - it is good to be back (I think )
I got a parcel this morning and both my cats had a sniff and then looked at me as if it was something terrifying! It must smell of something bad as usually they love boxes and new things and rub all round them to make it 'theirs'
It is a new mobile phone so it isn't as if it is anything nasty!
Wouldn't it be good to know exactly what they think sometimes
Pets - where would we be without them. Life would be very dull that is for sure!

H and D are the same with boxes. And paper, plastic, grass (the sports field type) and peppers and garlic.
If they don't like something it gets us wondering.
Ours are 17 months now, but I can't remember a time without them. Guess that shows how involved you become. We choose to have pets so their health and happiness is our responsibility(?).
Incidently, our trainer said she is amazed by how far the pups have come. She reckoned most folk would give up on two boxers boys. Those that do, don't know what fun they are missing!
Spiggy over his impromptu bath yet?

Fords, I didn't know you didn't have her anymore. Has she got a new house since you moved or has she ...
They leave a big hole in your life when they are not there, especially when you live on your own like me, my whole day revolves around my cats. When they are not there (doesn't happen very often these days - usually only when I have dropped them off somewhere for holibags if I am going away) the house is incredibly empty.
The boys are going to be pups to you all their life aren't they I suppose being boxers they never grow up really.
Spiggy put a foot in the sink again today He jumps up to see if there is any food (I usually notice before he gets there but I was dozing) and walks along the edge of the sink. I am a lazy sod and soak my dishes for a day before washing up so the odds are pretty high that he will get wet every so often!
Blimey - I haven't been this chatty in ages Needs must... got to try and figure out how to work the new mobile (kindly donated by my friend Paul who recently upgraded - bless him)

True enough, boxers never really grow up. According to my family, nor do I!
I suppose all pets try and pinch food left over. Our two are making a film soon. It's called 'Raiders of the lost bin'. If they spot garlic, curry, fish or meat going in, they bide their time and when they think we won't notice they raid. Then they can't figure out how we sussed them as we remove titbits from their heads?
H actually nicked half a packet of extra strong mints from my poackets when I dozed off. Sensible lad destroyed the evidence. Shame his (but not his brothers) minty breath gave him away.
I love all that sort of stuff, it's their character showing through. It means you have to be very careful with anything harmful to them though.
Although I let them taste a pinch of curry, etc I wouldn't let them near a full one. Their bottoms have caused us enough trouble without giving them deli belly.
It's great to see you getting back to your chatty self again. You pour sunlight into the lives of all of us when you're on form. Long may it continue.

No Mort, my cousin found her a new home as this flat is barely big enough for us!
I do miss her like hell though. Before moving with EV I lived alone and kinda looked forward to getting back to see her. Oh, how I miss her chewing floorboards, cables, the green carpet, boxes and skirting boards! I miss her jumping up onto the couch for a cuddle, her cute little snuffling noise when she was cuddling into my neck and hair, the look she'd give me when she knew I was stressed or upset...
I don't miss having to pick up her poo when she couldn't be bothered to use her litter tray though
