Got a nice letter from the cat food manufacturer today grovelling and sorry "about my experience"
They also sent a £5.00 voucher redeemable against any brand of the products they make.
Standard procedure for real complaints, but i made darn sure to mention that i was in the veterinary profession
Not bad for a 26p sachet of cat food. Mind you, at the memory of it. Yuk. Think it was because they were so small, mature maggots that are big bruiser are not as bad as you can see where they are and squash them. Little teeny ones are sneaky.
Still, another minor irritation in my life is sorted.
Now i have to get the cat off the top of my monitor

I grew up with dogs. My patents had a westie until i was about 5 (she hayed kids as she had always been the baby of the family) and then we got a jack russell terrier. He died when i was 17.
But my flatmate wanted a cat, and i was converted and ended up with custody of the cat for the next 13 years and added another 2!!
