Trouble is your ankles get weak if you wear boots all the time. In summer I love sandals and barefoot.
Never had much to do with leeches. Suppose they're Ok.

Absolutely, both leeches and maggots have their uses in medical problems. There is an entry that has just made it through PR on the subject - A1907534
I don't mind them - but not in my kitchen or in rabbits!
