I’m Candi. I’d like to welcome you to H2G2. I’m an ACE, which means I get to greet newcomers to the site and be generally helpful and friendly whenever I can...I apologise for the tardiness of this greeting but I hope I can still be of some help to you.

I hope you find this place as interesting and enjoyable as I do; though finding your way around H2G2 can be a bit intimidating at first, there are plenty of useful pages to help you. To start you off, here’s a list of general links put together by Rocket Man:

Take your time and enjoy yourself - there’s something here for everyone, whatever your interests. Just type in any subject in the search box and have a read, or join in or start conversations with other researchers – don’t worry if you don’t get a reply straight away, someone will talk to you before long if you persist! Have a go at writing a Guide entry. Or just hang around…..it’s all good fun

Hi Candi,

Cheers for the welcome. Things are going well so far. Managed to start on a guide entry for myself and have took part in a couple of conversations. Nice to chat with other people with a similar sense of humour etc.

I plan to add a few entries and participate in the conversations more as time goes on. My online time is however limited to hours at work when I'm bored (more and more often these days ). Never tend to get round to evening or weekend usage as have normally have and enough of PC's by the end of the day.
