A little bit about me...
Born in Illinois on a fine day in May, I entered a world full of wonder. When I was eight, my father jokingly told my mother that he was going to apply for a position in Alaska, whereupon she dared him to do so. He did, we moved. (The story is a bit longer than that, but brevity is the spice of life.)
Growing up in Alaska was amazing, astonishing, cold, fantastic, and wonderful. You'll notice that all of those things are in alphabetical order. Wasn't planned, just noticed that it happened. Like I was saying, Alaska is a great place, and if you've never been there, you should go. However, don't stay, since people in large groups tend to wreck things, and who would want to wreck the Last Frontier?
As I am currently studying for my Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, with an emphasis in Fluid Dynamics, I have little time that could be called my own. I manage somehow to sleep some and eat some and play some. Who could really ask for much more than that?
My top pet peeves are as follows:
1. Colored toilet paper - we all know what color it's going to be when you're through with it, so why even bother?
2. Wet socks - based on a traumatic experience as a small child. My parents, undressing me for the daily ritual of bathing, forgot to take my socks off and placed me in the bathtub. Don't have a good reason why, but it upset me greatly.
3. Orange pickup trucks - just one of those things that rubs me the wrong way.
