Tavaron da Quirm - Arts Editor

I think Dmitri watches films on (USA) netflix. I would guess they have the same films?

I also wanted to try netflix as I have no TV and miss it (no antenna or cable available in my appartment) but it told me it's not available in my country. Obviously no for-pay online movie stuff is available in my country. I ended up watching the film in parts on some free online film thingy (something like youtube but not youtube). Not totally legal I guess but nobody wanted to give me the chance to pay for it. smiley - erm

November 9th

cooked chilli for dinner. not much chilli powder in it, the powder seems to have gone all stuck and clumpy at the bottom of the jar smiley - erm
obviously moisture has gotten in

I've managed to buy a Christmas gift of some perfume for Joe's gran, it smells nice... and the name has something to do with rose... I can't remember right now

I bought three Halloween ghost lollies from Thornton's for a pound, you don't get much for a pound these days. they are white chocolate which to be honest I hate but smiley - monster will enjoy one.

Baby bear is enjoying fruit/vegetable purée and can eat a whole jar of the stuff in a go, we are keeping and sterilizing the glass jars with the hope to make our own purées and store them in the freezer till they need using I know many people wait till six months or longer before they start feeding solids but we have not cut down his milk feeds and he is still waking to eat at night smiley - ermsmiley - star

Joe's teacher training seems to be going well he is managing to get his asignments in on time and dosnt seem to find the work too challenging yet. they are being inspected by ofsted soon so thats something to look forward to... smiley - yikes

Someone fell asleep in the bath tonight for an hour... it wasn't me... smiley - winkeye

November 10th

went to look at the comet sale today
10 or 20% off some items but not all
I'm guessing some manufacturers would rather have there stock back
what really hit me though was even during this "liquidation sale" everything is still cheaper on-line smiley - erm or in other high-street stores
we did come out with a new kettle but we did need one the handle on ours had broken and occasionally the crack leaked steam

so now i'm one kettle richer or £20 poorer depending on how you look at it

Toad in the hole for dinner,
the only trouble with toad in the hole is that i love it
smiley - droolsmiley - droolsmiley - droolsmiley - drool

I've mopped the kitchen floor, a stock cube had fallen on the lino and well the water was mostly gravy smiley - yuk
but it's done now,

smiley - monster has discovered Pokemon... and is now entranced playing one of the games on the ds.

Charlie is sitting in his special baby chair shouting at wibbly pig smiley - laugh it's very cute

I'm also writing a list of things to pick up this week when we go shopping smiley - biggrin

spinach baby food is a bad idea, not only is it the exact same shade as baby poop it's also sort of gross... smiley - ill Charlie ate half a jar... sometimes he has more but as it was the first time and as spinach is generally quite strong tasting smiley - smiley
he has already taken a disliking to banana...

tonight we shall attempt to bathe both of the boys (not in the same bath i hasten to add) and wash there hair,
this isn't a problem for charlie as long as the water is a pleasant temperature for him (he hates cold baths...) he is more than happy to have his hair done but smiley - monster hates it... screaming ball of fury hate the sort of hate that i try and put it off till it really needs doing, well tonight is that night... smiley - yikes
wish us luck

I must get the things together to send upto Scotland soon

has everyone seen the John Lewis christmas advert with the snowmen in?

food shopping went well but Charlie fell asleep in Tesco
I also managed to pick up some things to send to my mother and her partner although i still need to get something for my sister and grandmother

tonight i go play with the ninja's again *jump for joy* although i'm a bit worried I might be a bit too tired to take it in properly

Charlie had his third inoculation today (and last for a while)I have misplaced his red book so I was in a bit of a fluster by the time I got to the clinic but it all worked out all right,
he didn't cry too much the poor little dear, I'm almost convinced he recognises the medical clinic now judging by his reaction to it smiley - erm
I know logically this isn't the case and it's probably a reaction to my own trepidation

went home via the butchers, because they also supply to caterers it was the same price for ten chicken legs as it was for six so we have yummy roast chicken legs for dinner smiley - drool

Joe did his first day teaching on his own though only three of a possible sixteen showed up to learn how to make there own sketch books with traditional book binding techniques

Ephriam was very bouncy when he got home from school, though we do have a bag of wet clothes and a uniform to return to the school, although it could just be trousers smiley - erm I might have to have a word with his teachers if this carries on

My view about looking after little children is that you need to get away from them sometimes.

Leave them with someone you trust, go out and enjoy yourself. smiley - biggrin

November 15th

spent the day in my pyjamas

the shower repair man came at 10am and replaced the shower... new one may take a little getting used to

smiley - monster is in love with pokemon although he occasionally confuses it with moshi monsters or whatever they are called, he is very excitable its sort of cute but its very hard to talk to someone when you have a bouncy four year old next to you telling you all about his new pokemon thing.. its not all the time just when he is very enthusiastic

Charlie has fallen asleep in daddys arms, today was daddys day off (his day for doing course work at home) although the college his placement is at wanted him to go in (half an hour drive for a ten minuite meeting) they didnt tell him this till two hours before the meeting so he couldn't go not that the meeting was very important apparently they wish to institute some new rules for the student teachers they want them to come in at 8.30 every morning and not leave till 4.30 including on thursday which as i have said is his day at home to do course work also the day he normally sees his learning support tutor. this would also mean that smiley - monster would have to go to breakfast club every morning as normally daddy drops him off and then mummy picks him up... this is possiable but we would need the student loans company to cover the cost of the breakfast club and that could take a while to organise... I could theoretically manage to do both drop off and pick up but it could be tricky with all the other jobs that need doing in the mornings (getting baby changed dressed and fed as well as mummy) and whatever chores need doing smiley - puff I know having a student in the house isn't easy but till now the college have been relatively understanding, he is covering all the classes he is timetabled for i dont really understand the sudden change

I was meant to be going to Manchester Christmas shopping tomorrow however the friend I was going with has go to a wedding reception that he had forgotten about, so that shall be rearranged for another week and instead i am considering going to the martial arts seminar that I was going to miss but I don't know what time it finises to arrange getting picked up (no-one knows)and we've been asked to bring blindfolds smiley - ermsmiley - handcuffssmiley - ponysmiley - erm

I mean I really want to go... I don't know Ahrg! it would be good to get out for the day

cooked a lovely roast pork sholder yesterday so it shall also be eaten cold today thats actually why i bought it because it would do a couple of meals smiley - drool

Can you get a rough idea of when to be picked up, even if you leave a bit early people will understand, you have two sproggs and dependent on lifts

if you have to wait a bit for your lift, take a book or something, or you may get the opportunity to have a natter with others afterwards smiley - biggrin

I think it would great if you could go and also I'm dying to know about the blindfolds smiley - winkeyesmiley - handcuffs

Almost forgot about this all together today smiley - doh
today has been a busy day
first I cleaned and hooverd the living room then mopped the kitchen and bathroom when Joe got home i washed the dishes and made some bottles
at some point I have been to the bank and handed in some cheques so hopefully i will get the money in my account soon
I have a national insurance bill to pay which is a bit of a pain especially this time of year I could really do with not having to hand hmrc £100 but sometimes you have to do these things

now I shall take myself to bed to sleep
or at least to look up at the ceiling and wish i could sleep...
Darn insomnia
