Yay
I've finally managed to get my fourth badge,
I now at last have my underguide badge
Yay
I've been waiting a few months for this one to be put up on my space!
and at last its here
on other news I spent the day in Manchester,
it was... unusualy warm today as I left picadilly (sp) station
with Joe's sister and mum in order to do some shopping
I have returned with a considerably lighter wallet and some cloathes
what was my impression of manchester...
well it looked nice enough
but there wasnt really that much on offer
sure there were shops, and a rather cool water fountian thing that childeren were playing in...
but not much other than that.
all in all I prefer glasgow...
and thats saying something.
Dr Anthea

Then you've been looking in all the wrong places. I mean, how can you judge Manchester when it's not even raining??

I have to rack my brains, and I lived in the place 19 years straight.

But whats in Glasgow? I mean, apart from a few shops probably in a central location.
Manchester sprawls - I've lived within 30mins of manchester all my life, and I still find new places and streets and shops (monday - the back enterance to the AMC, strange route).
Glasgow better? Pfft! Doesnt even have proper rain there.

I've been to Glasgow three times. First time (for Scotland vs England) someone in a skirt and ginger wig tried to smash my head into the urinal in a men's room in a pub. Second (for Leeds vs Rangers) time all anyone seemed to go on about was this secterian nonsense and religion. Third time (for a gig) the Manics didn't do an encore. Cheap arse gits.
Hardly endears you to the populace, or the Welsh music scene, does it?

So what did you do to have a womanwant to attack you in a men's utility room?
Don't bother collecting badges Anth, as long as she's here it's all inconsequential to the power of Mort.

We were up there for a game, got talking to some Scottish lads outside the ground a few hours before kick off and they invited us for a drink. We had a laugh with them and the majority of the pub until I needed to go for a slash.
I'm stood there doing my business and some jock tosser in a skirt comes up going 'Yah fookin' Angleesh cahnt, I'm gonna rip yer heed off' or some such drivel and dinked my head off the wall. Luckily my Uncle came in after me (I was only 14 at the time) and chinned him.

Don't you just love football fans. Celtic fans assume that if you're English, you're a protestant (I'm not bloody religious).
Worst one I had was England vs Holland at Villa Park. Drawing, boring match, so I chanted 'Attack, attac, attack attack attack' like we do at Leeds. Some tit in front of me goes 'don't you mean attack Iraq lad?' 'No, I don't agree with the war in Iraq.' 'What the f*ck you doing here then you scumbag?' Nice bloke.
Anyway, let's not be distracted from the point that Manchester's bloody brilliant.
