Hey,if you don't wanna go see your mum,that's fine.My grandma had a heart-scare a couple of years ago,and it was really scary seeing this classy-yet-tough owld bird in that bed.Not the same,but I can understand the not-wanting-to-see-like-that-ever-again-part.

And I bet Joe's kicking himself *really* hard for not being here.He'll understand about the Navy,if he loves you - which he *really* does.

Yes I did kick myself for not being here that night... but I phoned her as soon as I got home... and spoke to her then... I spoke to her the next day on the phone too... and I'm sure I will talk to her again some point in the near future but she is out today..

I have told Anthea how I have felt about her joining the navy before and since the event in question.... so I won't bring up how I feel here... though uf you reall want to know look in the post next Thursday

dont worry not wanting to see her like that is perfectly naturel, and shows that you cair.

i think you should go for it with the navy, because you've wanted to for a while so its not like a sudden dission to run away.

i hope your mums better, shes in the best place, there very good with that sort of thing in hospitals (as the fact some of my friends been alive is proof)

I never really noticed how much i needed my mum,
a week of doing all the chores around the house and having noone to complain at/to soon showed me

My friend's Mum died in year 7, so now she's the only girl in a house full of boys (her dad and two older brothers).

I hope so too, Anth, we're all pulling for you!

i realy noticed when my mum had to stay in hospital for a fortnight with my little sister, i was completly home alone for half of it, you just dont realize that you need things like loo role and the borring bits of meals i've only just lurnt to remember them and i've been doing my shopping for a year.

i'm realy glad shes doing better

well shes been put in a ward so shes not in a room on her own anymore,
also shes getting home for a day tomorrow... the day i'm away for the interview... but i will still be able to see her, and i should be here when she gets home
