*slides some over to peanut*
on a totally chocolate related note; cadburys have replaced the hazel nuts in a fruit and nut bar with Almonds... when did that happen?
Hello
Peanut Posted Jun 27, 2013
*nibbles some *
not overly keen on milk chocolate or raisons
it has almonds in now and not hazels? I do quite like almonds
I haven't got over the sell off of rowntree, bournville, and cadbury
*hands over raisons to Charlie...*
Hello
Peanut Posted Jul 3, 2013
Are the nappies all over?
*looks bit guilty for feeding Charlie raisons*
How is summer treating you all?
cordial and ice cream?

joe made coolaid because he got some from his brother who lives in america... vile stuff,
I am baking a chocolate cake (or planning to) later today - there may also be carrot cake
but only if i can find the currents
it's been very wet the last few days I do hope it gets better before the holidays start
Hello
Peanut Posted Jul 4, 2013
Despite not having a sweet tooth I have had a hankering for chocolate cake today, with a cup of coffee
I hope the weather picks up for you, it looks like we are going to get lucky next week as the forecast is good, we are off for a short stay in the woods.
We got a caravan on a late deal and looks like perfect camping weather Not that I am complaining, a caravan makes packing less of a faff

don't remind me,
next you'll be telling me christmas is coming
we're off to scotland not this week but next for a few days,
something tells me the sunshine wont last
Hello
Peanut Posted Aug 8, 2013
well I did think that about Christmas but didn't dare say it I was too scared of your throwing arm
I hope you have a good time in Scotland
Got lovely crop of cherries this year, still small but enough to make a cherry brandy and a couple of crumbles and share with the birds.
They were juicy, lovely purple and vivid red juice and sour, not what you expected when you popped one in your mouth, even the ones that were so ripe that if they had been any more ripe they would have been mouldy.
Not unpleasant if you like cherry sour. Still great for liquor, crumbles and the like

been picking the currants
so far we've made three jars of blackcurrant jam, two blackcurrant pies
and a jar of redcurrant jam (with no bits)
Hello
Peanut Posted Aug 10, 2013
oo, the currants did well then, who doesn't like bits?
I haven't made the crumble yet but am going to Mums for lunch tomorrow so will do it for a pudding I think.
I am also giving a computer tutorial so I think that is fair dos for my pork chop and
How are you all?
