Morning of chores, picking up teeenagers, then dropping them off here while I spend the night at Grannys. Granny is away, so house to myself, with books, comfy sofa, box of tissues...

Oh the course, the course is to learn some new pottery techniques or something, bigger pots something like that, I figure he needs to be all pottery for a while to stop his creativeness exploding outwards onto the house instead

I hope he enjoys the course and the opportunity to be creative

and that it is a good distraction from interior design

well to be honest the house does need some redecorating but it can wait a while longer,

new vacuum came yesterday. wow was my carpet dirty...

Still nice to notice a difference, mine is still working but not as well as it did, say, 10 years ago

I have to fess up to buying a steam mop a while back,
I got it out last week and actually I am quite impressed

on the one hand, great gadge that makes housew*rk measurably easier

but still it *is* housew*rk

I'll have to start training the to do it for me
I'm not sure he'd do yours too but maybe if you promise to let him play with the steam mop he'd give it a go....
on second thought that might provide more work than was originally there

hoovering is a good one I found at certain age the kids actually enjoyed it, crazy fools

I'm not too worried about the steam mop, I think would be fine, it is the spray I put on the floor. You can't add cleaners to the water.

The floor sprays seemed to be expensive apart from the one that is not a pump action one. It is like a washing up bottle but with more perforations in the nozzle, so it will probably come out as a dribble, then you wil squeeze a bit more enthusiatically and it will hit the opposite wall.

How did the weekend go for the both of you?

I still feel like I could sleep for a week

and I better start drawing next weeks duck tails
my first referee refused to give me a reference so now I need to find another person
but mostly things are ok at the moment,
or they will be once I finish picking up all the toys off the floor

the problem is he was a tutor at the uni,
the course was disbanded the other tutor had a stroke and his wife just passed away so i cant ask him...
so now i dont have an academic reference

and as i was self employed....... well it makes things tricky

even the murder she wrote boxset is starting to sound good now
