h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hello Doctor,

Spynxxx here, fellow Underguide Miner and generaly all around good fellow. I come seeking nothing but a moment of your precious time as I have seen your efforts on the Badass project and know that time is a precious commodity when split between two sites.

With that said, lets get to the meat of this plea. I wonder if you have noticed that there is an election pending here on hootoo, one for the office of President of h2g2 itself.

This may at first glance seem to be nothing but another of many RPGs on site but let me assure you, nothing could be farther from the truth. There is a real and concerted effort to use this position for the good of each and every researcher and the site as a whole.

Of course not by every party is treating this as as such. There are many of the usual goofs, spoofs and other 'it's all in good fun' types who fail to see the potential in this position. I say many but not all, for the Ozark Party is the lone exception in this mass filled with those of less vision and concern.

Officially endorsed by The UnderGuide, the Ozark Party Platform is one of sound and careful reason, absent of fluff and aimed at honestly helping this place we call our virtual home grow to it's full potential. As our candidate for this most high office, Hypatia is one of this sights cornerstones. Writer, Poet and long time Post contributer she is the very essensce of what these goals embody. I'm sorry to say that I have already said that i will give support to another good friend of mine in the election, although I am sure that Hyp is a good candidate I am sorry to say that I've already desided to give my support to Terran who I've known on site a lot longer,

Aside from that, Blue Bird clued me in on the Badass project a while back and I must say that I'm impressed. Good work and keep it up, there's never enough art in the world

Oh, I forgot to mention that with the crazy first, second, third choice bit you can still show team spirit by voting Ozark in the number two slot. It would give you a warm fuzzy feeling to know that your vote has something other than sentimental value to support it.
