Though finding your way around H2G2 can be a bit intimidating at first, there are plenty of useful pages to help you. To start you off, here’s a list of links Rocket Man has put together:

Take your time and enjoy yourself - there’s something here for everyone, whatever your interests. Just type in any subject in the search box and have a read, or join in or start conversations with other researchers – don’t worry if you don’t get a reply straight away, someone will talk to you before long if you persist! Have a go at writing a Guide entry. Or just hang around…..it’s all good fun

I noticed since you posted to me last a couple of your conversations have been responded to - I hope you've not been put off!

One way of getting noticed around here is to post at Ask the H2G2 community - start a new conversation about anything you want feedback on from other researchers or join in one of the ongoing threads....it's a very popular place

Another thing you might try is browse around people's personal spaces - to do this just click a name you see in any conversation or entry and, if you see something that interests you, post to them on their page.

Hope you find this useful...I'd be interested to know how you're doing - I'm online most days so you'll usually get a reply fairly quickly from me
