I am interested in all this but I am floundering yet. It kind of scared me when you addressed me by my name and said I could not enter. I wonder how you did that?

My brain is old, tired and abused and it is difficult for me in cyberspace a lot of the time. I will eventually become oriented to this new place though I am sure.

The thing where your name came up is a h2g2 guide ml (like html) tag, called the "viewer tag". It picks up the name of whichever member of h2g2 comes to the page and puts their name in there. I was a bit freaked out when I first saw it too! I jusst use it as an intro to the page, its supposed to be funny.
