She or anhaga ( U215480 ) might be able to come up with something better...or would certainly have something to say. Mention that I referred them to you.

He was quite busy last night, posting insulting things about the Salonistas (comparing us with Nazis among other things) in conversations which had absolutely nothing to do with the Atelier, and his postings were completely off-topic. And those were conversations that no Salonista had posted in or was subscribed to - he just thrashed around like a rabid dog

Well, best of luck with the situation! That does sound nasty & inhospitable , The kind of thing that should be dealt with before he seriously offends anyone!

It's possible that he's been put on pre-moderation (or whatever the term is) by now - it seems he continued to make postings that were yikesed long after I went to bed last night

It amazes me how someone could get so worked up and spend so much energy on - what? Revenge? Retaliation? And if so - why?

Oh well... hopefully things will calm down a bit now...

I believe the word you were looking for was "aggravation" ...or I suppose the phrase "creating a disturbance" also applies. Anyway..., yes we'll hope for the best!
