Hi j~z~c! for the Valentine`s day card-I will now (`natch) send you a belated one.I successfully downloaded flowgo-but for the life of me couldn`t figure out how to get it started.G finally did-it looks like a site! can`t wait to get to tinkering w/it! The 4 yr old (attached to me) brought my mail in& then didn`t leave until her mom finally said 'dinner'now my dear-so I was a bit tired & didn`t computer much last nite.Hope you had a ly Valentine`s Day.G got me tulips-said the entire store was filled w/men buying flowers,drinks,& sweets! As I was drawing w/Sheera,I was glad he didn`t bring sweets-she can sense them when they`re around~ so for flowgo-it`ll be fun!! to 1 & all Neugen

Yes, was accepted as an ACE in June! Been doing my regular volunteering at the local Jazz & Blues club http://www.yardbirdsuite.com . Was there Thurs., last night, & will be there tonight. music!

So - what happened?

Just curious, you know - I stumble across all sorts of researcher every now and then, and then get involved in conversations, and then drift out of them...

Is it simply the fact that we got involved in different types of conversations, or have you been off-line for some time? I wouldn't know, since I tend to stick to a limited number of conversations...

I tend to be that way too, essentially "a limited number of conversations", but yes, I was offline for a couple months during the summer. Had the computer locked up with a nasty virus...have been back about a month.

Ah, OK - would you possibly have been involved in the café with the IIEM? (he/she/it/whatever has learnt to talk since then)

Unfortunately, can't provide it...but, why? Oh, & meant to ask, how does your new year seem so far?

Well, it seems that people are trying to gather evidence - a bit hard since he seems to have been all over the place, but still... it might be worth an effort getting him on... uh... pre-moderation (or whatever it's called, when Moderators need to check each single posting you try to make before allowing it to post)

So far, 2004 has been just fine - I attended the London meet-up last weekend!

But yes, I see..it was a thread a fellow Canadian created in/on "ask the h2g2 community' it Was awhile ago...a kind gesture on my part seems (or at least seemed) to have turned him around. At Christmas I brought out a plate of shortbreads & German lebkuchen, he purred like a kitten. Hasn't trouubled us since.

Well, to begin with he was just an 'enfant terrible' in the Atelier, but then he seemed to pick up 'common sense' and 'courtesy' for a while - before becoming a pain in the a**e and insulting each and every one of us!

Hmmm, not good! ...that was the "Should Chief Gordon Lightfoot..." thread, as I said in "ask the h2g2 community", back in Nov.
