Ok, was out for a bit earlier...an ice sculpure display in the neighbourhood here, hope to get some photos online eventually!

One of my favorite Christmas memories is the winter I spent working at Winter Park ski resort in Colorado. They did a nighttime fireworks show, followed by a "torch run"... skiers carrying torches down the mountain, with the torchlight and full moon reflecting off the snow...
I couldn't deal with the cold anymore, but winters in the north are sure beautiful!
