You're stuck with me a bit longer. Monday I'll work a 1/2 day, then have therapy in the afternoon. Tuesday I'll have morning therapy, then go pick up my sister at the El Paso airport in the evening. Weds. we'll head north. So I'll be around for a while still, though probably on and off while I try to get me and the kids ready to travel.

I may sign on occasionally while I'm up there, but I don't think the sibs will take it too kindly if I spend my evenings hootoo-ing, like I do around here!

If you simply can't live without seeing me wiggle my desert rat whiskers , drop me an e-mail! There's an addy at the bottom of my U space... though I'm sure Tanz will be keeping you company in my absence

No, I certainly don't expect you to sequester yourself with the computer evenings & ignore family, I mean, its not as if you're there yearound. So I'll be thinking of you in Kansas while I'm with my 2 brothers (& the one's family, & in-laws).

But, just in case we miss each other or whatever (life is what happens when you're making other plans, afterall), have a very merry Christmas with the siblings, & maybe some old friends you haven't seen in awhile. Look forward to more 'sing-song's & all, in or before the new year!

Going ok. Worked this morning, did some housecleaning, until my hand said ENOUGH and decided to chill out here for a bit

Oh yeah, surviving fine, managed not to get completelt mauled at the mall yesterday & got a few e-mail off today...actually got prompt replies to a couple of 'em, which is nice.

Maul survival is a plus!

Probably the biggest accomplishment of my day is that one of my guys (who's basically our park mechanic) volunteered to check my truck over for the trip, make sure it was travelworthy. I'll feel more secure about it now... I'd wanted to get it to a mechanic for a once-over, but haven't been able to as I've needed it to get to therapy.

Was mighty nice of him to do that!

Yeah, that was nice of him...good to know that you're travelling in a safe vehicle, y'know, that nothings about to wear out or break down (potentially leaving you stranded on the shoulder somewhere.)

Things can ALWAYS go wrong, but it's good we've got a fighting chance of making it home without problems!

I'd been thinking of asking him to check the truck, but decided I didn't want to impose. So I was thrilled when he just volunteered out of the blue!

My guys do take pretty good care of me!
