Kona coffee, Muffalettas, Po'boys and Plate Lunch
Aloha All,
Welcome to my space, I greet you with lei(flowers to wear around your neck) and mele (hawaiian for song) I live on Oahu, and the Ilima is the flower of Oahu, the lei'ilima is one of the most beautiful of all leis;about five hundred flowers are needed for a single lei. This is the lei I present to you and this is my mele for you as I present it:

I ka nou a ke kehau When pelted by dew
The chorus exist only in English
O beautiful Ilima

This song was written by Princess Alexandra Kano'a De Fries in honour of her firstborn son Prince LihoLiho around 1863.
Although I was born in East Meadow long Island, I was raised between New York and New Orleans and have traveled extensively throughout the world, for the last 25 years hawaii has been home for myself and my children. I was married and divorced in Hawaii. My daughters (the Geek divas) were born and raised in Hawaii, and my son (the Techno Geek) after being away for 2 years has to decided to make hawaii his home as well.
I am an ecletic mix of New York pragmatism, Creole bon vivant, and Hawaiian aloha.
