Yes we all miss him very much. It was actually his idea to start this site. Here is a great message from him welcoming all to the site. -> <./>Welcome-DNA</.>
Anyway, this Shoal Prexy on of your friendly neighborhood Aces (Assistant Community Editors.) I am here to try to smooth your entry into this most amazing site. I am here to answer any questions you may have and to generally be as helpful as possible. The main things people want to know is what should I write and how. A good place to start is <./>Contribute</.>, which is also a button on the left side of your screen. You can write it in Plain Text found @ <./> Writing-PlainText</.> or GuideML found @Writing-GuideML. The Plain Text mode is best for beginners. If you are experienced w/ computers, GuideML should not be too hard. To find the basic commands go to the <./>GuideML-Clinic</.>. Then there is always the <./>Smileys</.>. My Favorite being the towel smiley . To find out about <./>Smileys</.> click on the word <./>Smileys</.> or click on any Smiley. You can ask me any questions or just find out about me by clicking my name (above) or go here U180808. I think that covers the basics, let me know if you need anything else.

Just thought that I would pop in and add that if you would like to give yourself a name (numbers can be a little impersonal - and hard to remember ) you can do so by hitting the "preferences" button on your screen. If you are viewing in "goo" (dark blue background) the button is at the left hand side nestled in the goo - don't know where it is in alabaster (white background) cause I'm a goo fan – and if you are viewing in the new Brunel skin it's on left hand side of the screen - I am sure that you will find it there somewhere
