Well, actually, I know most of the folks I deal with on the UG pretty well so I wouldn't call it pouncing (not least because most of them are subscribed to this thread ). But I find that the best way to avoid this is to-
1- Stop Making Mistakes Pah. It's our right!! Something we all have to do and are all entitled to do.
2- Chain up the Complainers and forget where the key is... Probably a felony.
3- Don't sweat it. This what I try. It works most of the time.

I find that if someone's journal or an email rambles I delete anyway

You know what I really hate - those e-mails that threaten you with disaster and tell you what a rotten person you are if you don't forward them to at least 6 people in 30 minutes.

Luckily they end up in my junk mail folder along with the Penis extention offers, I can never understand why I get them, I'm a woman and my email address clearly indicates that too

It's insane. I even get them at work. They are flagged as spam, but they still get delivered.

I get at least 20 a week
