Seems the DNA servers have an immigration policy too."

'They' decide to drop one site to save money. Would it be a wise policy to push all users to another, costing as much? Or will we all go down together?

Not really subtle. I got an email this morning from Jimster on the UG forum telling us to lay off.
I'm putting myself a bit at risk here, but I don't think I can agree with them.

I wouldn't worry about financing. Obviously not every writer on GW will get into h2g2. I suspect, with luck, maybe a couple dozen or so will seek asylum on h2g2. h2g2 can handle that, especially with the servers they have set up for DNA.
I understand the wishes of the DNA and h2g2 staff. I just don't agree with them, so I'm not going to abide by them.

I'm perfectly willing to help any GW'ers transition over into h2g2. It may not come across this way, but I want to help these people.
First, though, I have to get some responses on an issue involving the UnderGuide

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
