h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hello there, you persistent few. My Journal has become such a rare and uninteresting thing these last couple of years, that I fear that I may actually be the only one reading this.

But look on the brightside, its a good place to keep stuff.

My latest thoughts are revolving around maybe starting up another group. Kind of a "land grab" type thing, where different groups have to "lay claim to entries" as their territory. There could be some sort of very cruel and unfair mediator who could decide disputes by whim. Of course Edited entries would be out, and to avoid arguments groups home pages will have to be out. The ideal entries could be "Elvis" (gone AWOL) researcher entries. Perhaps there could be a points system for laying claim to an entry with certain features E.g. Number of posts, age of entry... or even better maybe entries could have a value, and could be traded for points... hmm the more I think about this the more I like it. Could top the Terranic Army, and I can stop living on past glories. Mwahahaha! ahem

Oh and I'm back in the post (despite complaints ) with my first non fiction (well that point is slightly debatable but it'll do for now) column called "42 Reasons for Fish - and Other Things", so check that out tommorow, as well as all the other great entries, as they've really had to work hard this week as both Shazz (who's quite sick) and Greebo (moving house I believe) are not present, so Awix has taken the reigns... in somewhat difficult circumstances, so I applaud him for all his efforts.

Ah I'm feeling more and more like my old self again. I'm even forgetting about posts I should have answered ages ago. All in all, I'm feeling more and more like my old self more all the time

Oh and still on the subject of the post, I believe Reefgirl had a lot to do, so basically well done to everyone involved. *pats backs with a very big hand*
