I'm still around, what would make you think that I'm not?

Oh nothing just haven't seen or spoke to you in ages!
On that note, sorry I disappeared! Work has been getting on top of me, and what with the madness of Christmas, I've only just got my head back together!
So hows life been treating you? Actually I can't remember what was the last thing we were talking about... I think it was a few years ago!
Anyway, how are you?

I'm good, like wise my life has been quite a bit busy; got married, moved to the states, got a job, got another job, still involved with OSS programming etc.
Don't worry about not being around, most people have disappeared from here. In fact most people have just stoped talking to me, but I still pop on every week to see if anything has happened; and sometimes it does.
Shame all being said.

Ah your a teacher of computers! so you know of open source, free software and the fact that the windows platform is dead. I do hope your teaching these kids the fundamentals rather than just teaching them ho to use Microsoft Office, because that has been a big problem with the way IT is taught.

Busy aint the word for what I've been; I'm just hoping now that I've done all the normal life changing things I can go on the conquer the world in the same relative speed. which means I should be clear to make you minister for Portugal before I'm 50 clive

Hello!
Yes I'm trying to teach them anything and everything I can about computers, and have the odd poke at Microsoft when I get the chance. Though the college is a bit funny about Open Source stuff, so its a bit limited what I can take off and put on the machines... so I'm stuck with Microsoft
But then they do rule the world...
Sorry I seem to have this horrible habit of wandering off h2g2 and forgetting to reply to people... I think I'm going senile in my relatively young old age...

Don't worry Terran; pass the information of where you teach to your local FOSS hit squad and they'll be sure to take out the evil doers and know nothings that impede your FOSS roll out.
I'm old for my age, the cold is too cold, the heat is too hot and kids these days have no respect.

Yes, I'm saying things aren't how they used to be already! Its scary!
I think I was born old actually...
And yes it'll be handy to get the hit squad involved

Some people never grow up, I how ever feel like I've lived a thousand lives before. Each of them difficult, painful or just pointless.
Live for this life, today and tomorrow.
Oh and your local FOSS team is on it's way.
