Hello

Welcome to My Space - Make Yourself at Home

About Me

My name is Steve1. I'm 32 married and live near London.

What I like to do for fun

My hobbies include Rock-Climbing,2 Sailing,3 walking,4 & camping5.

Stuff that I'm Interested In

I'm interested in most things but esp. computer-related technology and software, which is my profession.

I am also interested in philosophy and theology. I have just completed the 1st year of a BA in Theology. I also like to keep up with current affairs and politics. I will probably have an opinion on most things and if I don't then I would probably like to learn more so I can form an opinion.

Some Useful H2G2 Links:

The H2G2 University: Go get an H2G2 Education.
The H2G2 Post
Christians on H2G2: Pop in and chat about God and stuff or just say Hi.
I am waiting patiently for the opertunity to become a Scout.

1Apparently this means crown, so in theory at least I should be a born leader. Unfortunatly I'm not, but this doesn't stop me trying.2To climbers (all slightly mad) this is a great sport and the best way spend an afternoon. To more sane individuals who don't climb it is the practice of hanging half way up a cliff by your fingernails, hoping desperately that your nails don't break (This line of thinking has sometimes been know to cross a climbers mind half way up a cliff, esp. when said fingernails are bending and your arms feel like bricks).
Should this unfortunate event occur and you fall then you hope even more desperately that the guy holding the other end of the rope is awake and paying attention, rather than grabbing a quick sandwich or taking a leak!
3As dangerous as climbing but in this case the risk is from drowning or being eatten by sharks rather than being splated unpleasently on the ground.4A normal everyday activity used to get you from A to B. But in this case pushed too far and involving heavy rucksacks, bad weather, and points A and B being considerably further apart than your front door and your car.5A safe activity enjoyed all over the world, but only by the slightly crazy in the middle of an English winter (or even an English summer somtimes, come to think of it).
