For smilies just write the type you want inbetween angle brackets.
e.g < biggrin > without the spaces gives you or just click on a smiley and it will take you to the smiley's list

FALLENANGEL: it's ok... no need to rush... and yes i noticed in a conversation of yours that you thought you couldn't do the smiley and just done one...

i think some of us have done worse gaffs than that... [i just can't remember mine... hehe...]

when you are in conversation be careful not to press ok before you're sure that the yellow frame is around the text you're typing... if not you might find yourself reading the house rules or watching a page full of smileys... it's quite annoying when it happens just before putting the finishing touch...

Got the other message now, if you want to contact anyone it's best to click on their name and leave a message on their space, that way they will be able to see it and reply

You can also do the smilies the 'traditional' way(or short code)
e.g : - ) without spaces gives you

They only appear after pressing the 'preview message' or 'post message' button, don't worry about making mistakes as we've all done it (and as loup will remind you, if you forget) still do
