Titania (gone for lunch)

Hati seems to feel she's falling apart, so I thought we'd put her together again - join the Hatifnat jigsaw puzzle over here (and spread the word!):

Hi again Hapi.

Just thought I'd pop by your space and, considering you only speak Dutch, your written English is pretty good.

We seem to have similar likes as well with reading and drinking beer.Must admit that I'm very partial to the real ales that we have here in England. Also enjoy a pint (568mls) of dry cider occasionally as well.

Have you experienced a Russian winter yet seeing as you say you are currently living and working in Moscow? Rather you than me if you have.

Hi Compo, smiley - ta I can speak some English as well if I really try.. in fact the only way -for me- to communicate in Russia is English. I noticed I start to mix English and Dutch, and I'll probably forget all about Dutch language in a year or so.
Real Ale: yess! wake me up any time for a pint smiley - biggrin. Reading: I started Pushkin but .. well.. yess.. I prefer Pratchett..

As for Russian winters: well.. I noticed that it is verrry cold outside (minus 20 C) but some apartments, the cars and the metro are too hot during the winter. The metro turns into a sweaty, stinking cave where too many people have too many clothes and probably not enough soap. It is not really uncomfortable (in Moscow centre that is!).

Haven't got round to reading any Pratchett as yet.An old friend of mine who lives in Bideford (South West England)Is really keen on his books. The *Wyrd Sisters was dramatised on British television a few years ago.Didn't watch all of the series, but enjoyed what I did see,

*I hope I've spelt Wyrd correctly.

smiley - biggrin Wyrd sisters indeed.. brilliant book ! I really liked that!
I think I read all Discworld books, I may have missed one of the latest ones.
Total hilarity and absurd ideas.. I like that (what.. I like it? I live in the middle of it)

Ha! I just *knew* there was supposed to be a 'greetings Hapi' thread *somewhere*!

I think I got a bit carried away last night - I blame Santra for going offline every now and then, and then of course Hati for going offline to make smiley - tea or something...smiley - tongueout

Anyway, I hope I didn't bore you to death by rambling on and on about Finnish grammar. I *do* tend to ramble late at night when I'm about to fall asleep over my keyboard - ask Hati, she's witnessed this behaviour often enough!smiley - silly

smiley - roflsmiley - rofl no, you certainly didn't bore me, in fact I found a James Bond website and I was quite happy to add another language to my "certainly not!" list. In the end I got to see my pillow before 4am so it wasn't that bad.
