.. he heard worse .. but they are both about to move (universities) so .. from that moment on they can both sing

I cannot start singing yet.. I still have the neighbours.. they would be .. surprised to hear me sing (tar, feathers, ... )

One side of me are an elderly couple, she's not been too well and the other side is a recently divorced bloke who plays Oasis at full blast and joins in with Liam occationally

I play Led Zeppelin sometimes.. full blast, until one time one of the speakers came crashing down from 7 ft high.. Led Z full blast is something that makes longs vibrate the sound is ... loud

Led Z I can take or leave, now Guns and Roses I can play at loud levels

... 19 had quite a lot of extremely loud G&R sessions I travelled between NL and Russia for a while, bought loads of CDs in Russia (2 GBP each).. so she had an impressive G&R collection

* the roof slowly vibrating .. birds nests launched *
* mice with earwarmers *

Ahhhhhhhhhhh the sound of a headbanger, My ex is a big Iron Maiden fan, when he picked me up from work I used to be able to hear him before I saw him

well.. I hardly ever make real noise .. and there's only the neighbours to the left who can hear me .. and they are not always there.. and the walls are pretty thick..

.. well.. lucky yes, but I understand your neighbours are somewhat depending on your idea of loudness?

I guess that's true, the elderly ones have their TV on a bit louder and their phone ring is on a special amplifier

.. I see .. the last few years 94 (my father) had his tv set on at thunder volume; when visiting I could feel the news, not hear it some commercials were .. frightening
so you don't need to switch on tv sound yourself?

They're usually in bed by 9.30

9.30?? wow.. I mean surely they'll wake up around 6am then? with thundering sounds of radio news?
(* 94 did that some ten years ago (84 so to speak) .. sleep at 11pm, after half a bottle Scotch, wake up at 6am and switch the radio to Richter scale 12 *)

Can't say I've heard their radio much before 9am

(* some 30+ years ago (yes.. that old) I w*rked in central warehouses of a large supermarket concern; loading / unloading trucks .. made a lot of money and had no time to spend it and since that I just w*rk at night when I cannot finish the job at day time. .. happens frequently *)
