Hi!
Thanks...
Hmmm... strange, but are you sure you're allowed to install it at the library? Perhaps they are behind a large firewall, and thus the usage of MSN is limited... I dunno. Sounds like a network problem to me, anyway.
Anyway, I'm sure it'll work out, and you really shouldn't go through all that trouble... Not for me, anyway. We've got this conversation, for now. Anyway, when you do log onto MSN, you'll probably get a message saying that I've added you to my contact list, so you won't have to add me, you'll just have to confirm that I'm allowed to see when you're online, and everything will be fine. I have no problem with next saturday, I think... no... wait, I'm leaving for Bosnia on saturday.... It's quite late, but I'll probably be at my grandmother's for the evening... perhaps sometime around noon... That might work...
Yup, it's quite fun, I've got this really strange piece at the orchestra, "Homage to Leonin", It's just loads of impro, it has allmost no bars, and it says at the start to "play ad lib, regardless of conductors beat". I'm working the glockenspiel, and the chimes on that one... FUN!!!
So, your parents are separated? So are mine, yet another thing we have in commmon...
Lucky you, I'm still waiting for my scholarship, so I haven't got a lot of money now... And I've got loads of things that I wish to buy, including some hellishly expensive cymbals.
Great, you've finally gotten them. On the subject of books, how are the prices on books in Scotland?
Elbow... yet another new band that I should try and listen to, thanks!
Well, I haven't counted, the DT concert is on January 21. 2004... It'll be so good, but before then, there's the CD release, and then Cake is releasing a new album, and then comes HL2 (computer game), and Jedi Academy (yet another computer game), so there are quite a lot of releases to look forward to. Oh, and Span will release an album too, "Mass Distraction".
Anyway, what sort of music is "Elbow"?

Hi!
That's not fun... She shouldn't say things like that... but anyway, don't be offended, it just means that she doesn't understand you (sounds horrid, I know, but it's a fact of life, in some cases).
Hmm, I'll manage an hour... yes.

Hello!
No i can definitely use it at the library. I used to download i there no problem. Plus it happened to me at college and there are little restrictions with the college computers.
I really want to get it to work though. It's doing my head in! "Me come el coco"... dunno why Spanish for "it does my head in" came into my head!
Oh well that sounds fun!... if not complicated.
oh Elbow?... hmmmm well i'd describe them as rock... kind of melodic rock not really heavy. There first album i great. I have there second album but i haven't listened to it very much(my CD player is on the blink). Anyway they use lots of piano which i like. They remind me slightly of Radiohead.
yeah my parents are separated. They have been separated since i was 8. They're divorced now of course. My dad is married again... to a woman 16 years his junior may i add!my mum isn't married again.
em books are quite expensive over here is uppose. I don't know really i mean it varies.
what are Cake like?

Heizann!
Hmmm... strange, we have loads of restrictions on our school computers... but allright, It'll probably work out.
Hahahaaaaaaaa.... nice.
Naw, it's simple, I just improvise at my own speed... So it works out quite well... Last time, I forgot when I was supposed to stop improvising, so I kept going throughout the piece, and when we were done, the conductor stopped and said something like "that was absolutely wrong, but it worked great, we'll keep it... Try an remember what you did, and write it into your notes...". That kind of says something about the piece.
OK... sounds cool...
Ahh, mine divorced when I was four, my dad has married again, and my mother has a bf. The real problem has always been that they can't stop fighting/arguing.
Well, books are expensive eveerywhere, but over here, you don't get a book for a 20£ voucher (except possibly a paperback), which was why I asked.
Well... erm... I think cake can best be described as "weird hillbilly walz-rock", it's really quite strange, so I dunno if they fit into a specific genre.

Oh Helzann then!
Haha! How blunt could he possibly be?! "You did that completely wrong!"... i's have been mortified!lol... nah but that's great it's worked out for the best. Yaay!
Oh my mum has a bf too. Do you remember the time they split up? I can remember that morning they split vividly. It was pretty horrible. I mean my dad went missiing for a few days and then came home told my mum he was leaving and then well he basically left. I still see him of course. In fact i've turned out a hell of a lot like him and it's really ben my mother who has brought me up.
How did you feel about your dad re-marrying? I totally borke down when my dad told me he was re-marrying. My parent shad been split up for a long time and i really liked my dad's gf. Thing is i hadn't totally known that my dad's gf was his gf if u know what i mean... i had always assumed they were just friends... no wonder i took it so hard!
I felt like i'd totally lost him. Things have been different since he re-married and moved in with his wife. It's not bad we just aren't very close... it's like my dad will never ever tell me off for anything. I mean im not a bad person and i don't really get up to mischief but in the past there have been times where i've deserved a telling off and he couldn't bring himself to do it.
oh god no we ain't as expensive as that! I could probably get 2 or 3 books for £20 over here just depending on what the book is.
Oh cool hillibilly waltz-rock!

That's Heizann... with an I...
If you're going to use norwegian slang, you've got to do it properly...
Naw, he's not blunt, it takes a sharp mind to keep focus and hear every least mistake that every single instrument in an orchestra makes, whilst conducting polyrhythms.
Anyway, it was cool, and I was really embarassed...
No, I can't remember much, I was very young... Anyway, I've always seen the divorce as a good thing, because my parents would always argue, sometimes violently, so it really became a relief. I dunno if I've actually turned out like any of my parents (god, I hope not).
Hmm... well, I managed it quite well, I think. I felt it was allright, but some of his gf's children did not agree with me... So that was tricky. Anyway, it had been a long time since the divorce, so it didn't really matter, and I got to be at his wedding, and hold a speech and everything, YAY!
I'm sorry to hear that it was that hard for you, but I'm certain you've learned something from it...
Yeah, my dad's like that too... He's never been able to set any restrictions, but it's worked out with me, because I've pretty much restricted myself.
Yay, hillbilly waltz-rock. It's worth a try, but it is v. weird.
Oh, yeah, I'm leaving on saturday, and then I'm staying there for a week and a half, until Wednesday.
Well, today I'm the one who's feeling down... I shouldn't really, but I can't help it... I think I just need some space, sort of (and when you have younger siblings, that takes some effort).
Hmmm... I can't think of anything that'll rhyme with Øyvind... so...
spk. soon.

hiya! here's my 2nd reply... till my mum comes back into the living room that is.:0
you're dad's gfs children don't agree with you? That's a shame. Are they total brats?!
Oh and you made a speech at your dads wedding?! Gosh i would have considered my doing a speech at my dads' wedding totally inappropriate!
oh gotta go... again.

Hei!
No problem, you're free to try, I'm only giving you a nudge in the right direction. What you did was that you wrote helzann instead of heisann (l instead of i)... Or at least that's how it looked... But don't worry, I didn't mean to be arrogant or anything... go ahead (it'll be good for a laugh, anyway(only joking, no offence intended)).
Yeah, I'm fine, I've spent two hours on the drumkit today, just beating out all the frustration, so I'm fine now... I think. Thanks for asking.
Well, who says I won't be able to go on the web down there? I've bben abroad quite a lot, and there's usually a webcafe in every town. Anyway, there's bound to be one in Sarajevo, and in Dubrovnik... So I won't be all gone, but I won't be able to write every day... Think of it this way, though, when I get back, we'll have all the more to talk about, because I'll have loads of things to tell you/rant to you about. And, some missing is good too...
But of course, I'll miss you too...
No, they didn't agree with me... but that's something like five years ago... Anyway, they're dead nice now. Especially my brother, Andy. He's my age, and we've got pretty much the same interests, so we're more friends than brothers...
Why would that be inappropriate? Many of the kids made speeches... Some serious, and some (like mine) humouristic... It was a totally improvised speech, because I hate preparing them, but it worked fine.
Well, see you later...
Øyvind

Hello!
Oh right i see! I did it by mistake i thought you had used an l. Silly me... must be going blind...
Oh gosh i really should get down to some work on the piano come to think of it. Oh and i discovered i worried you for nothing with my depressed spell... bloody PMS!lol
you sure you ain't got that?... just kidding Oyvind!
Oh im watching a programme on Marc Bolan just now. God he was great! So glam and cute! And straight too!Totally amazing. If i had been a teenager in the 70's i would have lusted after him i can promise you!
Oh yaay! I was gonna ask if you may be on the web in Bosnia but i thought perhaps you would be far too busy. A little bit of missing is good? No it's not! I hate missing people. But yeah you're right about us having lots to talk about... or more to the point you'll have lots to talk about. I'll just be leading my usual boring life!
But i'll be able to tell you about Elbow... actually that's the day after you come back i think...
Okay so i'll have nothing to tell you then! lol
Oh and now "Scream" is on the tv. Oh great. lol
That's cool you get on with them now. When you say you have 10 siblings are you including you're stepbrothers and sisters?
I doubt i'll ever have any stepbrothers or sisters.
Well maybe it's different in Norway but i would never have made a speech at my dads' wedding. I was too pi**ed off mind you!
Mwah! Well im in a rather good mood just now! Must be all the serotonin from all the chocolate i've been eating!
But how are you? You sure you're okay?
