Knock knock from Titania

Titania (gone for lunch)

Hi there! I was wondering if you could check something for me - but only if you have time. Someone has referred to my h2g2 Astrid Lindgren entry in an essay or something like that, but it's all in Icelandic and although I tried, I can only understand a few words here and there, no where near enough to make any sense of it. Much obliged if you could help. Details here:

No problem - happy to help. What is it that you're after?

The essay is a thesis paper for a BA in childrens' education at the University of Iceland, 2007, for Astrid Lindgren's 100th..

It covers some of the same ground you did in your entry, but as it's 30+ pages, it goes into more depth. It also covers how Lindgren was received in Iceland and also how some of her characters influenced young people, especially women, when the books were first published in Iceland.

Any other questions / points you want to know?

Now, how on earth did you discover this??

I didn't, Icy did!smiley - biggrin I was just curious how much of my entry the author had used, that's all - I'm terribly flattered that someone actually found it and used it.

From what I saw, very little...it was an academic paper focussing more on her legacy- so your Entry was mainly used in the first chapter and intro.
