There is a mistake in my Sioux Nation, Mount Rushmore entry.
What is known today as the Sioux nation was already in existence as the Oceti Sakowin before the any white came men to the country.
Could you either remove the word "the" or the word "any" so the sentence will make sense?
I see you have decided to over rule me again and use the word "myth" despite my wishes for "my" entry. It would have been nice if you could have responded to my inquiries as to why in the thread we were already discussing in. I'm sure you are within your rights as subeditor to ignore my wishes for my entry though. Truthfully I believe the changes you made were just for change's sake. I guess you wouldn't have much else to do as a subeditor if you didn't make some changes, but it is still a bit annoying. I suppose I shall have to keep this revelation of the true nature of the getting in the guide process in mind should I undertake to contribute anything else.

actually I guess it'll need more than removing a word. but I'm sure you can see what I mean with the sentence.

thank you, they have fixed it already. I do appreciate your help with this. hope I didn't sound too hard headed about trivial things.

You´ll also be happy to note that since I pointed out your complaints to the Eds, they´ve made the changes you requested. You should also note that after a sub has sent something off, it can only be changed with their intervention. Therefore, I couldn´t just find my copy of this and remove the offending word in its dictionary definition.
