Christmas can be a bad time, just accentuating that fact that you aren't happy. I've learnt to catch myself before I get down these days-thankfully- and i normally find music helps. Maybe that's the musician in me, but anything that I associate with good times (say, a CD of my old Youth Orchestra or Beethoven's Eighth) reminds me that there *is* something out there. I'm lucky to have learnt how to control me!

When you let yourself get down, you often can't be optimistic. The best you can get to is realistic, and even then that's generally the pessimistic view of it. Sometimes, you also don't *want* to see the good side to the matter. It's a strange paradox that sometimes you can want to feel down.

brilliant green eyes look really cool, I had a friend who had that + bright red hair. I think the coolest is one green one blue.
