Yeah, at least ours aren't costly. I think my state ID costs $10 and my passport was $90. No biggie. I don't *think* we have THAT kind of CCTV, though!

I'd hope so, but there'll be overdraft facilities to fleece, and on a level like that, doesn't bear thinking about.
Watch the recreational right have a field day about this, saying it's just desserts for scroungers and single mothers who get knocked up just to get a council house.

>>Hell, my boss teases me for balancing my bank account to within a dollar; apparently he balances to within a thousand.
Smug fucker. Kill him!
Some of our CCTVs are *talking* now, do you have that?

It's hardly smug. He's a nice guy. I could balance a little more loosely if I wasn't so anal about things. Would be a lot less time-consuming.
Never seen any "talking" CCTV, at least not that I have ever noticed. Huh.

Oh, dear. Poor Phil. He's made fun of frequnetly in South Park, too.

Well, thanks!
And thanks for the parcel- it arrived yesterday. The jury's still out re: "House of Rock", but the 45s are sweet! And the puffy cheeseburger.
You already knew I was excited (perhaps inordinately so) about the coins, so I've already had a look at those, too.
Thank you again, very much. I'll post yours tomorrow; the post office should be open and hopefully won't be packed to the rafters.

Look forward to it, thank you
Glad it's found you, and so soon! Give House of Rock a go, it does improve (a bit).

Watched three episodes last night while waiting for dinner delivery to arrive. I'm glad I got the chance to see it at least once. Any idea why their ears all look like speakers?

Maybe on account of their careers?? Not sure; nice cartoonage though, you have to admit. I've been trying to find out who actually *drew* the thing but can only identify various animators, and a producer. I suspect it was him though.
Duz Herman lik iz chizburger?

Herman loves the Chzburger. It's hilarious! It's in such nice condition, I hated to waste a perfectly nice CD wallet on a cat... but as I already have one, it's possible Herman may get more use of it. He's snuggled up with it on the couch as I type.

(I should mention that his favorite bit so far is the zipper pull. He does love to grab zipper pulls in his teeth and undo the zippers!)

This level of cuteness may contravene certain transatlantic trade agreements... Will there be photos??

I'll certainly try to get at least one. I haven't updated any Herman photos in ages, although he periodically does something cute.
For instance, he woke me up at 6:30 this morning, kneading with his paws (a rather pointy feeling) and sniffing my nose. Then he leaped out of bed and meowed at me to follow. I got up, he didn't really follow me, and now he's back in bed, snuggled cozily into *my* spot. Brat.

A flap?
Kittehs are nice to have around. I have to take several allergy meds to keep myself alive with all this fuzz around, but I manage, and the little guy's worth it.
My lease excluded pets, but the landlords were happy to modify that to keep me from moving. Hopefully you'd have half my luck.
Watched "Dog Soldiers" last night. It was fairly entertaining, actually.

I live on the third floor, leaving him in all day with no option but to leap out of the window to his death wouldn't seem very fair.
I did like Dog Soldiers, glad you did too.

Oh... I see what you mean. We don't let Herman out at all. It's not safe for kittehs to run around outdoors in the city, with all the traffic and stuff. Especially wobbly ones. I can see how a flap would be useful, then- friends of ours (with a decent-sized back yard) have one for their dogs to use during the daytime.
Yeah, the film was enjoyable. I'm generally only disappointed by horror flicks if they are (a) mind-numbingly boring, (b) inferior remakes, or (3) more like a bloody version of "Dawson's Creek" than an actual horror film. If you know what I mean.
