Inside Outside
Posted Nov 2, 2002
Ever notice how the inside of a building, house, corner, whatever is just so utterly dark and cold. Too controlled and then you step out into the glaring brilliant luminescent light. You close your eyes so that you needn't clutch your hand to your eyes and just feel. You ruminate in the overpowering warmth and glow of the sun, feel it just spreading through your veins happily warming you to a rosy pink like sitting near a fire after a long day sledding in the snow. And you listen to the sounds of crickets and bees buzzing around as you sit there feeling like you might be so full of light you're starting to reflect it...carefree. Absolute thoughtlessness. I need to go outside.

Homecoming...
Posted Oct 26, 2002
Well I went to the Homecoming football game last night (american football with tackles and the like). Our team lost 34 to 0 and that's one of our better scores! Aww the humor. Fortunately, our band was there and they are the BEST! They've won straight superlatives for 16 years...and they can march and play like crazy! They even did their competition show for this year there-ten minutes of the most unbelievably awesome marching you have ever seen with some fantastic music and colorguard to boot! Also, homecoming queen and king were crowned...I know the queen. And we got to laugh at the cheerleaders, so it was all pretty much worth it. (Not to mention laughing at the football team). Homecoming Dance is tonight, but luckily I don't have to go! YAY! There's that then.

HELP
Posted Oct 19, 2002
I need lots of help...I'm doing a research paper and was wondering if anyone might know of former governments (of Greece or any) that might have been Democratic or at least somewhat near a Democracy and now have changed to a completely different governmental state (ie communism, socialism, police states, etc.)? It would help...
Aww well..

Stuart Little
Posted Oct 16, 2002
Not that anyone reads this or replies to it, but I figured I might as well post anyhow. I am now in a local play (which one? You guessed it! Stuart Little) I'm a narrator, and do all the set changes with 10 other people. Also, I volunteered for props and sets, so there! We're also the oldest so we'll help in the performances in keeping the little ones quiet. They're all so cute when they read their parts!
Ok then...off to the real world...

Well, yesterday my 90-year-old neighbor had her third stroke of the year. I'm rather frightened for her!
NASA sent up Atlantis, the first shuttle since Challenger, which is now taking a truss up to the international space station, yesterday as well.
