A working gal
Posted Apr 28, 2003
Ah...my first day of work experience....
The train: Lovely. I love trains.
The taxi: Erm. Yes. It did the job.
Work: Well.....I didn't actually expect to be, umm, working. You see, I was at the Canterbury Adscene, and I guess I thought I'd be making tea and photocopying rather than, as I was, writing articles. Well, writing articles, reading newspapers and *pretending* to be buisy doing something....The people were nice [if not rather annoyingly chirpy at times] and the office was, well, an office. And I got a Mac. Yay!
In all, a good day

Notes
Posted Apr 20, 2003
Some notes from my brief trip away.....
To the guys that were wolf-whistling at various times in various places: Get real
To the drunk Scotsmen in Eton: Frilly<?> Where did that come from<?>
To the goth boy in Oxford: Don't worry, you'll get the hang of those platforms eventually
To the Becks lookalike in Oxford: Get a life
To Taka Hirose: Was that *you* in Brighton today<?>
To the tender in the shoe shop in Oxford: Umm. Yes. Perhaps I'm not the best person to call "bling bling"....<?>
To the Supreme Being: at least you have a sense of humour
In short, I've had better trips.
and to you all

Just a warning...
Posted Apr 15, 2003
Hiya!
I'm not likely to be around this weekend, as I'm of to Winsor. We just felt like it. Does anyone know about anything interesting I can do there<?>
In case I don't speak to you at the time, have a great Easter, and don't eat too much
and to you all
