Warp Speed ..A possibility in the near future?

Now that the semester has officially finished (as of now!)this minute smiley - ok - I ponder on the possibility that Mars is really "Waterword" smiley - winkeyesmiley - mars and that we narrowly missed being annihilated by a rogue asteroid smiley - yikes.
But most fascinating of all is the advent of teleporting successfully a laser beam of light all be it for a nano-second. We of course have been familiar with the physics of teleportation since the advent of "Star Trek" and other sci-fi favourites. To see it now happening in the real world, makes me think that it will not be long before some bright physicist works out how we can travel faster than light or at "Warp". The scientific and technological world is changing so rapidly, who knows - it could happen tomorrow. It does not pay to doubt but to believe in a future that will benefit us all.smiley - smiley
And those are my thoughts for the moment...
